    摘要: A wavelength conversion laser light source includes a fundamental wave laser light source (1) to generate a fundamental wave; a first mirror and a second mirror (4, 5), arranged so as to oppose each other; a wavelength conversion element (3) which is arranged between the first mirror and the second mirror and converts the wavelength of the fundamental wave; and a temperature control portion (8) to control the temperature of the wavelength conversion element. A portion of the fundamental wave is wavelength-converted in the wavelength conversion element, and moreover the fundamental wave which is not wavelength-converted is reflected by the first mirror and the second mirror and is repeatedly incident on the wavelength conversion element and is wavelength-converted, and the temperature control portion is arranged so as to be in contact with the wavelength conversion element, and the light quantity of the fundamental wave incident on the temperature control portion is reduced by a fundamental wave absorption portion (18).

    摘要: A laser illuminating device and an image display device are provided to enable a removal of speckle noises in a diffraction field and an image field, to uniformly illuminate an illumination plane, and to realize miniaturization. The laser illuminating device 100 includes a laser light source 3 and a first lens 1 including a plurality of microlenses 10, each having a predetermined numerical aperture in an in-plane direction, and each of the microlenses 10 being adapted to expand laser light emitted from the laser light source 3 to thereby superimpose the laser light transmitted through each of the microlenses 10. The laser illuminating device 100 also includes a second lens 2 having an effective diameter larger than an effective diameter of the first lens 1, and compensating for a divergence angle of the laser light expanded by each of the plurality of the microlenses 10.

    摘要: A wavelength conversion laser device includes a laser light source which emits a laser beam, two reflective surfaces which reflect therefrom a laser beam, a wavelength converter provided between the two reflective surfaces, which converts a laser beam into a wavelength-converted laser beam, and condensing optics which condense the laser beams to be injected between the two reflective surfaces, wherein at least one of the two reflective surfaces has a curvature for reflecting a laser beam to be re-injected into the wavelength converter between the two reflective surfaces repeatedly while forming multi paths of laser beams injected into the wavelength converter at different incident angles, and the condensing optics are arranged to disperse beam waists of the laser beams in the wavelength converter, which reciprocate between the two reflective surfaces.

    摘要: Disclosed is an arrangement that enables to keep a relative positional relation between a beam for servo control and a beam for information recording/reproduction constant concerning focusing control and tracking control, even if the two beams are different from each other. An optical storage medium has a reflection surface for reflecting a first beam having a first wavelength, and reflecting a second beam having a second wavelength different from the first wavelength; and an information storage layer for recording information as an interference pattern by incidence of the first beam, or reproducing the information from a wave surface based on the interference pattern. The reflection surface is formed with plural marks or guide grooves usable in a tracking operation or a focusing operation by irradiation of the second beam. The information storage layer is partially formed, in advance, with a reference interference pattern which is reproduced when the first beam is irradiated, and which is used as a reference for correcting the relative positional relation between the first beam and the second beam.

    摘要: A semiconductor laser light source 10 emits a laser beam for pumping. An optical resonator 2 includes a solid laser crystal 15 to be excited by the incident of a laser beam to oscillate a fundamental wave 20 and a pair of fundamental wave reflective coats 14, 16 arranged at the opposite sides of the solid laser crystal 15. A wavelength conversion element 18 converts the fundamental wave 20 into a plurality of harmonics 21, 22. The wavelength conversion element 18 is so arranged in the optical resonator 2 that the optical axis of at least one of the plurality of harmonics 21, 22 generated in the optical resonator 2 is made different from that of the fundamental wave 20 and the at least one harmonic 22 whose optical axis is made different is output substantially in the same direction as the other harmonic 21. By this construction, it is possible to stabilize a harmonic output and utilize a plurality of harmonics without increasing the number of parts.

    摘要: An image display apparatus is provided with a laser light source, a spatial light modulation device for modulating the laser light emitted from the laser light source, a display surface for displaying the modulated light, an optical pixel aperture enlarging member for distributing the luminance of the laser light while introducing the laser light to apertures of pixels of the spatial light modulation device; and a display pixel aperture enlarging portion for optically enlarging the modulated light by the apertures of the pixels of the spatial light modulation device corresponding to pixels of an image to be displayed on the display surface. The luminance of a partial area of each pixel of the image displayed on the display surface is controlled to be below the threefold of an average value of the luminance in the area of the entire pixel by the optical pixel aperture enlarging member and the display pixel aperture enlarging portion, thereby accomplishing speckle noise reduction and an improvement of light utilization efficiency.
