    摘要: In a configuration constituted by two lens sheets, the ranges of levels of refractive index n and Abbe number .nu. of the image-side lens made of a biconvex lens are specified in order to realize an imaging lens constituted by two lens sheets which can attain a long back focus, a relatively wide angle of view, a high brightness, a small size, and a lower manufacturing cost. The imaging lens comprises, successively disposed from the object side to the image side, a concave lens and a biconvex lens, while at least one surface of the concave lens is an aspheric surface. Also, assuming that the refractive index and Abbe number of the biconvex lens are respectively n and .nu., the following conditional expressions (1) and (2): 1.55.ltoreq.n (1) 35.ltoreq..nu. (2) are satisfied.

    摘要: A wide angle lens is made of three groups so as to satisfy a predetermined conditional expression concerning abbe number, thereby making it telecentric and yielding no eclipse in its peripheral luminous flux. Also, an apparatus accommodating it is made compact as a whole. This wide angle lens comprises, arranged in the following order from the screen side toward the liquid crystal side, a first lens group composed of a concave lens (L1), whose concave surface having a large radius of curvature is directed toward a smaller conjugate side (liquid crystal panel), and a convex lens (L2); a second lens group composed of one concave lens (L3) and two convex lenses (L4) and (L5); and a third lens group composed of a Fresnel lens (L6) which is disposed near a liquid crystal panel (L7; 4). The abbe number .nu. 1 of the lens L1 which is the concave lens in the first lens group is 57.8, whereas the abbe number .nu. 2 of the lens (L3) which is the concave lens in the second lens group is 25.4, thereby satisfying the conditional expression of .nu. 1>.nu. 2. The focal length f1 of the first lens group is 453.1 mm, whereas the focal length f0 of the whole lens group system is 67.76 mm, thereby satisfying .vertline.f1.vertline.>f0.

    摘要: An optical transmitter including a light source for outputting a carrier light, an electro-absorption optical modulator for absorbing the carrier light according to an applied voltage to thereby output an intensity-modulated signal light, a device for applying an offset voltage to the optical modulator so that the applied voltage enters a region where the generation of the carrier light in the light source is stable, and a device for receiving an input signal to superimpose a modulation signal corresponding to the input signal on the offset voltage. This optical transmitter prevents wavelength chirping of the light source due to residual reflection in the optical modulator to thereby allow improvement in waveform.

    摘要: The object is to carry out developer feeding and toner supplement in a short time without scattering dust particles around, in view of the effectual use of natural resources and space saving. A developer cartridge is removably mounted on a developing unit body and also functions as a lid for closing a developer supply opening after developer has been released into the developing unit body. A toner cartridge includes a lid which can be inserted into and taken out of a toner cartridge body; a sealing member for sealing the toner release opening of the toner cartridge body, the leading edge of which is fixedly attached to the end of the lid on a side from which the lid is inserted; and a tab sheet one end of which is fixed to the middle position of the sealing member and the other end of which is temporarily affixed to the lid. When the sealing member is stripped off, the tab sheet is pulled after the lid has been pulled out as far as a specified position, whereby the sealing member can be folded in two with the toner sticking face inward.
