摘要: An improved flexible drive assembly for escalators and moving walks is provided. The improved drive assembly includes a substantially horizontally disposed motor. The drive assembly of the present invention further includes a substantially horizontally disposed single-stage worm gear input shaft arranged perpendicularly with a main step band sprocket shaft. The worm gear input shaft, in turn, drives a horizontal output shaft disposed in parallel fashion to the main step band sprocket shaft. One or more drive chains each link corresponding output shaft gears with corresponding main drive sprocket gears disposed on the main step band sprocket shaft. Step chain sprockets of larger diameter than the main drive sprockets are disposed adjacent to and inwardly of a corresponding main drive sprocket. These step band sprockets engage the step band and drive it about its endless path.

摘要: In the invention, reaction raw-materials composed of a plurality of liquids are sequentially scraped with spiral grooves of one line or more provided in the peripheral face of the rotation shaft rotating within the cylinder wall with the discharge openings being formed therein. The reaction raw-materials are uniformly mixed within the grooves by shearing force or twist force through the rotation of the shaft. The reaction raw-material, if small amount, may be precisely mixed uniformly and is sequentially discharged after the mixing operation. This is suitable for reaction raw-materials which are short in the gelatin condition time from the mixing from the hardening. Some mixtures which are discarded without being used after the mixing may be reduced.

摘要: In a time base corrector for correcting time base fluctuations of signals reproduced from a record medium, on which a plurality of time-compressed component signals occurring within one horizontal period in a predetermined sequential order are recorded in response to a clock signal with a predetermined frequency, a write clock pulse generator used in the time base corrector includes a phase shifter for shifting the phase of an incoming write clock signal, whereby the write clock signal having a frequency different from the predetermined frequency is generated in response to a horizontal synchronizing signal, the start time of each of the plurality of reproduced component signals is detected and the shifting amount of the write clock signal by the phase shifter is switched in accordance with the detected output so as to synchronize the write clock signal with the start time of each of the reproduced component signal.

摘要: A receiving reproducing system for an automotive radio detects the surrounding noise level other than the output sound thereof, in the sound field extending in the passenger compartment of an automobile, and the level which is dependent upon the received signal level of an antenna. The receiving reproducing system partly controls its output sound volume proportionally in accordance with the surrounding noise level and partly lowers its output sound volume in dependence upon the reduction in the received signal level. Even under the circumstances where the surrounding noise level is high and where the received signal level is low, the sound volume of the output sound containing many noises can be prevented from being raised.

摘要: Techniques are generally described here for communicating channel state information using predictive vector quantization. In some examples, a method may include measuring channel state information based, at least in part, on signals received over a communications channel. An error vector may be calculated between the measured channel state information and predicted channel state information. The error vector may be quantized, and subsequent channel state information may be predicted based, at least in part, on the quantized error vector.
