摘要: A lenticular lens sheet comprising a base member in the form of a film or sheet, and a lens area including lenticular lenses convexly formed on the light-entering surface of the base member. The lens area is formed by using an ionizing-radiation-curable resin such as an ultraviolet-light- or electron-beam-curable resin. A non-colored layer which is substantially transparent and non-colored is formed in each lenticular lens on the base side thereof; and a colored layer is formed in each lenticular lens along the light-entering surface thereof. The colored layer has the function of enhancing the contrast of the incident-side single lenticular lens sheet. According to this lenticular lens sheet, it is possible to obtain enhanced contrast by preventing the reflection of extraneous light without lowering the intensity of imaging light so much, and to make the lenticular lens pitch extremely small.

摘要: In a scrolling of a display of graphic data in response to an operator command, a characteristic of the data is altered, according to the speed of the scrolling, to facilitate the viewing of the data as the data is scrolled. In one case, a selected part of the data is omitted from the display during scrolling so that a reduced amount of data is displayed, the amount of reduction in displayed data being proportional to the scrolling period. As another possibility, or in addition thereto, the magnification of the data being displayed is varied with variation in the scrolling speed. The magnification can be controlled so that the apparent speed of the movement of the displayed data at a given scrolling speed is maintained substantially constant as the scrolling period is varied from the given scrolling speed. A further possibility is to alter the data by emphasizing a portion of the data in the display in a selected manner. Thus, even when the scrolling speed is set at the maximum speed which the human eye can follow, the displayed data can be viewed easily, and the retrieval operation there by can be facilitated.

摘要: A poured concrete wall construction. In forming the wall construction, a back panel is mounted on a foundation and a plurality of generally rectangular thin-walled blocks formed of crushed stone bonded with a thermosetting resin are stacked to form a wall that is spaced from the back panel with a cavity being defined between the stack and the back panel. A tubular frame is positioned outwardly of the stack, and a plurality of connecting members connect the back panel and the frame and extend through mating notches in the edges of adjacent the blocks. Clamps are connected to the outer ends of the connecting members to connect the connecting members to the frame. Concrete is subsequently poured into the cavity between the backing panel and the block stock to form the wall construction with the stack of blocks forming an outer decorative face for the wall.

摘要: An image forming device is provided with an image carrier and a transfer material adsorber and conveyor. The conveyor is provided for attaching a transfer material by an electrostatic force and for conveying in a first direction the transfer material to a position in which the image carrier is brought into contact at a transfer site. The conveyor comprises an electrical field generator for generating an electrical field downstream of the contact point with respect to the first direction. The electrical field generator is arranged on a side opposite to a surface in contact with the transfer material on the conveyor. The electrical field generator comprises a contact-type electricity feeder. An insulating layer is provided having a volume resistivity of at least 10.sup.14 .OMEGA.cm arranged on the side of the surface in contact with the image carrier, and a high resistance layer is further provided having a volume resistivity of between 10.sup.8 to 10.sup.14 .OMEGA.cm. A surface potential of the side in contact with the transfer material resulting from the electrical field generator has a potential gradient having a peak proximate to a position downstream of the contact point with respect to the first direction.

摘要: An image forming apparatus is provided with a latent image forming member for forming first and second electrostatic latent images on an image bearing member. A first developer forms a first visualized image by developing the first electrostatic latent image, and a second developer provides a second visualized image by developing the second electrostatic latent image. The second developer acts on the image bearing member after the first visualized image is formed on the image bearing member, and the second developer includes a developer carrier for carrying a developer to a developing position where the developer is supplied to the image bearing member. A vibratory voltage is applied to the developer carrier of the second developer. A controller changes a duty ratio of the vibratory voltage. The vibratory voltage has a first peak for forming an electric field to urge the developer away from the developing carrier toward the image bearing member and a second peak for forming an electric field to urge the developer away from the image bearing member toward the developer carrier. The first peak and second peak are alternately applied, and the controller changes a duty ratio while maintaining the second peak substantially constant. Furthermore, the controller changes the duty ratio by changing the first peak.
