    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may determine its position by receiving locations from one or more other UEs capable of network-based positioning. For example, a second UE may determine its location using network-based positioning and may transmit its location information to the first UE. The first UE may determine its location based on the received location information (e.g., by calculating a weighted average of different locations, by setting its location to be the same as the received location). In some cases, the first UE may receive location information from other UEs during or after a discovery process with other UEs. In some other cases, the first UE may receive messages (e.g., periodic safety messages) from the other UEs, and the messages may each include location information of the respective other UEs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A network entity may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), control signaling scheduling a first set of resources for a first transmission. The network entity may transmit, to the first UE, a second UE, or both, superposition control information indicating superposition of a second transmission with the first transmission during a portion of the first set of resources. In some examples, the network entity may superimpose the first transmission with the second transmission via an enhanced layer and base layer of the superposition signal. In some examples, the network entity may superimpose the first transmission with the second transmission based on bit allocation. In some examples, the network entity may superimpose the first transmission and second transmission via separate layers of the superposition signal. The network entity may transmit the superposition signal to the first UE and the second UE.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a receiving sidelink user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first original message from a first transmitting sidelink UE. The method also includes receiving, from a network coding device, a network coded (NC) packet that is coded across the first original message and a second original message from a second transmitting sidelink UE. The first original message corresponds to a first transport block. The second original message corresponds to a second transport block. The method further includes transmitting a first negative acknowledgment (NACK) in response to the first transport block being unsuccessfully decoded. The method still further includes transmitting a second NACK in response to the second transport block being unsuccessfully decoded. The method still further includes transmitting a first acknowledgment (ACK) in response to the first transport block being successfully decoded.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for wireless communication at a user equipment. The method comprises determining an interference cancellation, IC, capability for a sidelink communication, wherein the sidelink communication is to be transmitted to one or more other UEs and reporting the determined IC capability for the sidelink communication to a base station. The method also comprises receiving, from the base station, an indication of resources allocated for the sidelink communication based on the reported IC capability and transmitting the sidelink communication to the one or more other UEs using the allocated resources.
