摘要: A normal control in which a master cylinder 32 is used as a hydraulic source to increase a wheel cylinder pressure and a brake assist control in which a pump 12 and an accumulator 20 are used as the hydraulic source the wheel cylinder pressure is increased in a state where communication between the master cylinder 32 and the wheel cylinder 44** is intercepted are executed. When a termination request for the brake assist control occurs, first, the wheel cylinder pressure decreased. After the wheel cylinder pressure is decreased enough, communication between the wheel cylinder 44** and the master cylinder 32 is restored.

摘要: A braking force control apparatus adapted to generate a braking force, which is larger than that generated in a regular case, when a predetermined braking operation is carried out, this apparatus aiming at preventing the occurrence of an unnecessarily large sensible deceleration during a low-speed travel of a vehicle. ECU (10) is adapted to judge whether or not an emergency braking operation has been executed on the basis of a master cylinder pressure (Pmc) and its rate of change (dPmc). When a judgement that an emergency braking operation has been carried out is given, a wheel cylinder pressure (Pwc) is quickly increased by supplying an accumulator pressure to the wheel cylinder. When a vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined level during the execution of the emergency braking operation, the wheel cylinder pressure (Pwc) is speedily increased (116, 118) by a braking assist regular control operation. When the vehicle speed is not higher than a predetermined level during the execution of the emergency braking operation, the wheel cylinder pressure (Pwc) is slowly increased (116, 120) by a braking assist starting special control operation.

摘要: This invention provides a contamination-resistant float glass showing even quality in durability and its good quality sufficienty. The film for contamination-resistance is formed only on the top-side surface of a float glass. The surface, free from tin diffused from a float bath, can be identified by ultraviolet irradation. A solution including a chemical adsorbent like fluoroalkyltrichlorosilane is applied to the top-side surface by a roller coater. The adsorbent can be prevented from hydrolyzing with dry air around the coating portion of the coater. Surplus solution can be removed with dry air blown on the surface to make the contamination-resistant property and the appearance better. The chemical adsorbent is bonded to the surface via a siloxane bond to form a thin film. The contamination-resistant float glass is installed in the front door of an apparatus like a toaster oven with the film facing the inside of the oven. The film on the top-side surface shows higher contact angles than that on the bottom-side surface in durability tests.

摘要: An image reading apparatus for reading images on films of different sizes and outputting read image data includes a film sensor for sensing the dimension of at least one side of each film and a control module for operating the apparatus so that at least one of the reading process and outputting process is performed under a parameter setting set beforehand in accordance with a signal from the film sensor. When a reading start instruction is issued from a control panel, a film width detecting circuit performs film sensing, thereby determining the film width of each film. Based on the film width, reading parameter values such as a pixel pitch, a density range, and a data transfer destination are selected from among those that are beforehand set through the control panel. Table update is made for a density linear conversion table according to the film width and an interpolation coefficient according to the pixel pitch. Each film is read through a halogen driving circuit and an actuator driving circuit, and the image data is output through an image data reading circuit.

摘要: A brake force control apparatus performs both a brake assist control and an antilock brake control without interference therebetween. A master cylinder generates a brake fluid pressure corresponding to a magnitude of a brake operation. A pump has an inlet port and an outlet port, the inlet port being communicable with the master cylinder. An inlet control valve controls communication between the master cylinder and the inlet port of the pump. A wheel cylinder is communicable with each of the master cylinder and the outlet port of the pump. A supplementary reservoir is communicable with each of the wheel cylinder and the inlet port of the pump. The brake assist control is performed, when the emergency brake operation is performed by the driver, by opening the inlet control valve and actuating the pump. The antilock brake control is performed by controlling communication between said wheel cylinder and each of the master cylinder, the outlet port of the pump and the supplementary reservoir and actuating the pump. The inlet control valve is opened when both the brake assist control and the antilock brake control are performed concurrently.
