摘要: A semiconductor memory device enabling efficient repair of defects by using limited redundant memory while suppressing a drop of access speed accompanied with the repair of defects of the memory, wherein a first memory array is divided into a plurality of memory regions for each 16 word lines and wherein defective memory addresses in regions are stored in a second memory array. When a memory address for accessing the first memory array is input, the defective memory address of the memory region including the memory to be accessed is read out from the second memory array. In this way, the addresses of defective memory in 16 word lines worth of a memory region are stored in the second memory array 2, therefore addresses of a wider range of defective memory can be stored. For this reason, it becomes possible to repair defects occurring at random efficiently.

摘要: A plurality of electrodes for measuring electrocardiogarphic waveforms are attached on body surface positions that constitute a subset of the standard 12-lead system. The measured electrocardiogarphic waveforms of said subset of said standard 12-lead system are used to calculate the electrocardiogarphic waveforms of remaining leads in the said standard 12-lead system. The measured and calculated electrocardiographic waveforms are synthesized to form a standard 12-lead electrocardiogram. The invention is capable of monitoring the 12-lead electrocardiogram with a reduced number of electrodes, wherein a portion of waveforms are directly measured and used as primary information for diagnosing heart disease, and the other portion of waveforms are derived from the measured leads and are used as a secondary information for improving the accuracy of diagnosis. The invention is especially useful in monitoring ischemic heart disease and acute myocardial infarction in cases where mounting and maintaining ten electrodes to obtain 12-lead electrocardiogram is difficult, such as in ambulatory monitoring, long-term monitoring and home monitoring.

摘要: A control mechanism having a dial and cooperating structure for selectively locking the dial in any one of a plurality of angularly related positions. The locking mechanism is configured to provide a force or manipulating characteristic precluding operation thereof by accident or by young children, such as infants, thereby effectively precluding undesired resetting of the associated control mechanism. The locking structure is formed integrally with the respective relatively movable parts of the mechanism, including the structure for providing the biasing of the locking mechanism to the locking disposition. The locking mechanism is resiliently biased and includes a graspable portion which when grasped to effect movement of the control overcomes the resilient biasing. The biasing structure automatically relocks the dial upon release of the graspable portion.

摘要: Elevator starting compensation for preventing bounding and dash-out phenomena of an elevator cage possibly occurring due to unbalanced torque produced by a difference in weight between the cage and a counter weight. Adjusting quantities utilized in the starting compensation are arithmetically determined by a microcomputer employed for the elevator control, the result of the arithmetic operation being are stored in an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory. The starting compensation is performed on the basis of the adjusting quantities stored in the memory. The adjustment is facilitated.
