    摘要: A modest (2-5 fold) increase in androgen receptor (AR) mRNA is the only expression change consistently associated with developing resistance to antiandrogen therapy. Increased levels of AR confer resistance to anti-androgens by amplifying signal output from low levels of residual ligand and altering the normal response to antagonists. This invention provides cell based assays for use in the examination of new therapeutic modalities and provides for the design of novel antiandrogen compounds.

    摘要: The present invention relates to processes and reagents for oligonucleotide synthesis and purification. One aspect of the present invention relates to compounds useful for activating phosphoramidites in oligonucleotide synthesis. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a method of preparing oligonucleotides via the phosphoramidite method using an activator of the invention. Another aspect of the present invention relates to sulfur-transfer agents. In a preferred embodiment, the sulfur-transfer agent is a 3-amino-1,2,4-dithiazolidine-5-one. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a method of preparing a phosphorothioate by treating a phosphite with a sulfur-transfer reagent of the invention. In a preferred embodiment, the sulfur-transfer agent is a 3-amino-1,2,4-dithiazolidine-5-one. Another aspect of the present invention relates to compounds that scavenge acrylonitrile produced during the deprotection of phosphate groups bearing ethylnitrile protecting groups. In a preferred embodiment, the acrylonitrile scavenger is a polymer-bound thiol. Another aspect of the present invention relates to agents used to oxidize a phosphite to a phosphate. In a preferred embodiment, the oxidizing agent is sodium chlorite, chloroamine, or pyridine-N-oxide. Another aspect of the present invention relates to methods of purifying an oligonucleotide by annealing a first single-stranded oligonucleotide and second single-stranded oligonucleotide to form a double-stranded oligonucleotide; and subjecting the double-stranded oligonucleotide to chromatographic purification. In a preferred embodiment, the chromatographic purification is high-performance liquid chromatography.

The laminated composite contains on the outside a non-hardened coating of TMDS and a cover coating approximately 10-15 nm thick on it. The separating coating is produced in a plasma using methanol. The deposition of the hardened coating of TMDS takes place in the presence of oxygen bound in alcohol.

The first piston space directed to the drawing rod is pressure controlled during the drawing operation for the sheet forming. In the event of a press stoppage during a sheet forming, a control valve device can be activated so that, for maintaining the pressure existing in the first piston space at the start of the press stoppage during the time of the press stoppage, pressure medium can be charged into the first piston space by way of a pressure medium generator.

    摘要: A monitoring system for representing vibration conditions of a multiplicity of blades on a rotating disc in a turbomachine includes at least one sensor which is associated with the disc and which is connected to a pulse generator that delivers sensor pulses which respectively mark an instant at which a blade passes the sensor, a mark pick-up which always delivers a mark pulse when the disc is in a certain zero position, and an analysis device. The latter has an allocation module which takes account of the mark pulses and associates each sensor pulse with the blade which has caused it when passing a sensor. The allocation module calculates vibration data from the associated sensor pulses, which characterize the vibration conditions of the blade. A memory module has access to a working memory to which the vibration data are supplied and the memory module stores the vibration data in the working memory. In addition, the monitoring system has a representation device through the use of which the vibration data can be called up from the working memory and can be represented on at least one representation medium.
