摘要: A lighting driver for a discharge lamp is provided. The discharge lamp is designed to be ignited in response to application of a voltage higher than a given set voltage and to maintain stable emission of light through supply of a given current. The lighting driver includes two voltage source circuits one of which applies a first voltage having a first frequency to a piezoelectric transformer for igniting the discharge lamp and the other applying a second voltage of a second frequency for keeping stable emission of light from the discharge lamp. The lighting driver also includes a frequency switch which switches between communication of the first voltage source circuit with the piezoelectric transformer and communication of the second voltage source circuit with the piezoelectric transformer depending on whether the discharge lamp has been ignited or not, thereby keeping the stable emission of light from the discharge lamp after ignited.

摘要: A voltage and displacement sensitive probe with an electro-optic crystal, electrically conductive transparent films and adhered to a pair of parallel surfaces on the electro-optic crystal, a transparent elastic film which circumferential portion is bonded to the frame and which is symmetric with respect to any plane through the axis thereof, a probing needle bonded at its reflective bottom surface to the central portion on the film, a holder for holding the electro-optic crystal and the transparent elastic film via frame concentrically, a lead for grounding, and electrically conductive films for connecting between the films. Displacement detection of the probing needle is based upon the change in the length of the path of the light travelling through the electro-optic crystal being reflected by the surface and travelling in reverse direction. Voltage detection of the probing needle is based upon the phase difference between the two linearly-polarized light components.

摘要: Disclosed here is a dental resin sheet that is attached onto the surface of a tooth or the veneering crown to form the surface of the tooth or the crown. The dental resin sheet is constructed of a plurality of resin layers laminated into a uniform thickness, and the resin layers correspond to the layered structure of the tooth, one for the cervical, another for the dentin and another for the incisal. By laminating the layers of different shading in inclination with respect to the surface of the sheet, a shade of a tooth is achieved. A single elongated continuous sheet may be cut to a plurality of pieces of sheet each of which matches the configuration of a tooth. A single sheet may be configured to be shaped to the surface configuration of a tooth.

摘要: In a camera system having a camera body and at least one camera accessory attachable to the camera body, a plurality of circuit elements are provided in the camera body and in the camera accessory for performing predetermined respective operations. Circuitry in the camera controls the plurality of circuit elements and includes a data bus for connecting the control circuitry with the plurality of circuit elements. The data bus serially sends data from the control circuitry to the plurality of circuit elements and from the plurality of circuit elements to the control circuitry. At least one signal line connects the control circuitry with each of the circuit elements, respectively, for sending clock pulses utilized for synchronizing the data sent through the data bus. A plurality of selecting lines selects, by the control circuitry, which circuit element receives the data from the control circuitry and sends the data to the control circuitry. The control circuitry selects, in accordance with predetermined camera operation, the circuit element which operates through the selecting lines, with the control circuitry receiving data from the selected circuit element through the data bus with pulses through the signal line to calculate data sent to the circuit element according to the predetermined camera operation. The control circuitry sends the calculated data to the selected circuit element through the data bus with pulses through the signal line for operating the circuit element.

摘要: A control device for periodic flash photographies is provided with an actuation timing setting circuit in which actuation timings of a camera are manually set and a timer control circuit which generates a first signal at every set actuation timing and a second signal a given period of time before every set actuation timing. The first signal is applied to a camera release electromagnet of the camera for a camera release operation. The second signal is applied to a voltage booster circuit of an electronic flash device or an external power source for an electronic flash device, so that a control transistor of the voltage booster circuit is made conductive by the second signal to supply current to the base of an oscillation transistor of the voltage booster circuit for the oscillation thereof, whereby the voltage booster circuit generates a high voltage applied to a main capacitor of the electronic flash device for the charging thereof. The generation of the second signal may stop after every set actuation timing, e.g. at the time of closure of a synchronous switch of the camera for firing the electronic flash tube.
