摘要: A system for tracking and analyzing display case usage is disclosed. The system preferably includes a display case having a door and a transparent liquid crystal display (LCD) housed within said door. A CPU is preferably in electrical connection with the transparent LCD as well as a door sensor. The CPU is adapted to store information regarding the content being shown on the LCD and whether the door is open or closed. A network connection allows the CPU to transmit this information to a remote location. A temperature sensor can also be in electrical connection with the CPU in some embodiments and this data can also be stored and transmitted to a remote location.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a commodity information browsing system includes a shelf label apparatus including a first storing section and a first transmitting section, a portable terminal including a first receiving section, a notifying section, a second receiving section, and a display section, and a server apparatus including a second storing section and a second transmitting section. The first transmitting section transmits, by radio, one shelf label code among a plurality of shelf label codes. The notifying section notifies the server apparatus of the shelf label code. The second storing section stores association information representing a relation between the shelf label codes and commodity information. The second transmitting section determines, on the basis of the association information, the commodity information associated with the notified shelf label code and transmits the relevant commodity information to the portable terminal. The display section displays an image based on the commodity information.

摘要: First and second brightness metadata pertaining to respective first and second contents are accessed, and responsive to receiving a command to change presentation from the first content to the second content, a composite brightness is established using the first and second metadata. At least one of the contents using the composite brightness at a start time of a transition period. During the transition period, video is presented using a changing brightness that starts at the composite brightness at the start time of the transition period and ends at the second brightness at an end time of the transition period. Subsequent to the end time of the transition period, the second content is presented using the second metadata and not using the first metadata.

摘要: An embedded system for video processing comprises hardware means for realizing the following functions: i) a server function, wherein for realizing the server function the following functions are realized: i1) receiving of at least one image-, at least one audio-data stream; i2) compression of at least one of the image- and audio-data streams yielding in each case a combined data stream respectively; i3) output of at least one of the combined data streams via a protocol based network; ii) a client function, wherein for realizing the client function the following functions are realized: ii1) receiving of at least one combined data stream from the protocol based network; ii2) decompression of the at least one combined data stream; ii3) output of the combined decompressed image- and audio-data stream; iii) wherein the hardware means are designed in such a way that they compress and decompress a continuous combined data stream and iv) the hardware means for realizing the server function and the client function are arranged on a joint circuit board.
