摘要: A method for remotely directing a fishing tournament makes use of a data network over which participants transmit submissions indicating sizes of fish caught. The submissions may include digital images of fish, and size may be determined from a scale established using a reference object depicted in the image. The data network may also be used to register participants and provide them with tournament results. Participants may register for a fishing period, or multiple fishing periods of the tournament, and may be issued a code to be displayed in images of fish. Validation of entries may include an examination of metadata in submitted digital images.

摘要: A method of data acquisition for health management of systems is provided. The method includes receiving, at a remote node, analog data from one or more sensors configured to monitor a health characteristic of a system, converting, at the remote node, the analog data into digital data, time stamping the digital data with the remote node, recording the digital data in a memory of the remote node, wherein the memory is a ring buffer, transmitting, from the remote node to a central device, requested digital data upon receiving a request related to a triggering event, and synchronizing the transmitted data at the central device based on the time stamp of the requested digital data to generate synchronized data.

摘要: Systems, apparatuses, and methods as described herein relate to analyzing plant nutrient-yield relationships and identifying optimum plant fertilization strategies to improve individual plant yields and overall plant yields. Nutrient data and yield data for plants in all yield ranges, rather than nutrient data and yield data for only the best-performing plants, is categorized based on the yield data and then analyzed to determine the yield as a function of nutrient condition for each nutrient element for the plants in each yield category. The nutrient-yield function can be modeled using a polynomial equation of various orders that can be used for determining the nutritional condition to improve crop production for plants in each yield category.

A computing device is executed and lock contention information relating to operations during execution of the computing device is recorded. The data is parsed and analyzed to determine blocking relationships between operations due to lock contention. Algorithms are implemented to analyze dependencies between operations based on the data and to identify key areas of optimization for performance improvement. Algorithms can be based on the Hyperlink-Induced Topic Search algorithm or the PageRank algorithm.

摘要: Provided is a data processing method for determining rotation by a marker device of a medical tracking system about its mount. The data processing method includes acquiring a first marker device position dataset which represents a position of the marker device before a movement of the marker device. A second marker device position dataset is acquired which represents the position of the marker device after a movement of the marker device. A marker device displacement dataset is calculated, which represents the displacement of the marker device, from the first and second marker device position datasets. At least one axis of rotation of the marker device displacement dataset is calculated. A determination is made whether or not the marker device is rotated about its mount from the position of the at least one axis of rotation relative to the marker device.

摘要: A computing resource monitoring service receives a request to store metrics data. The request includes the metrics data and a fully qualified metric identifier generated based at least in part on metadata included in an earlier request to store other metrics data for the same metric. The service uses the fully qualified metric identifier to identify an aggregator datastore for storing the metrics data. Once the service has identified the aggregator datastore, the service accesses the aggregator datastore to store the metrics data such that the metrics data and the other metrics data can be obtained in response to a request to obtain data for the metric, where the request includes the metadata.

The free blocks object may be logically divided into sections, and the sections may be searched non-sequentially. Each section may be logically divided into a number of sub-sections, and the sub-sections of the various sections may be searched non-sequentially. A new section may be added to the free blocks object, and the added section may be searched until a predetermined threshold or condition is reached, at which point non-sequential searching may begin or resume.
