摘要: Exemplary methods, apparatuses, and systems receive a gift giving event characteristic. A first set of one or more gift giving events within a first period of time that meet the received gift giving event characteristic are identified. Each of the gift giving events result in a narrative being published to a social network and are viewable by a group of one or more users of the social network. A second set of one or more gift giving events within a second period of time are identified. The second period of time is subsequent to the first period time. The second set of gift giving events are initiated by the group of one or more users. An amount of influence of a first user that initiated a gift giving event in the first set of gift giving events is determined based upon the second set of gift giving events.

摘要: A system and method for tracing an electronic document within a publication. A message is associated with the electronic document as an identification thereof. The binary representation of the message is encoded as a mark defining a drawing arrangement of geometrical shapes which encode the message in the glyph of the mark e.g. a simple text, a single character, a geometrical shape etc. or in the glyph of a single character then used as a mark. The mark is added to the electronic document to generate a traceable document having the message as identification within the publication. The mark is provided at a specific location with respect to the borders and/or center of the traceable document. The traceable document thus created is added to the publication. To track the document, the publication is sent to an electronic scanner module implementing a hook. The hook searches for the geometrical shapes representing the message in the mark. When found, the mark allows for obtaining positional information about the document including position in page, page number, width, length, X/Y ratio etc.

摘要: The compatibility score of members of a social network is based on the compatibility of their expressed interests. The compatibility score between any two interests is calculated as the log of the estimated probability that a member of the social network will express both interests divided by the product of: (i) the estimated probability that a member of the social network will express the first of the two interests and (ii) the estimated probability that a member of the social network will express the second of the two interests. The compatibility score between two individuals is calculated as the sum of the compatibility scores between each interest appearing in a set of interests expressed by the first of the two individuals and each interest appearing in a set of interests expressed by the second of the two individuals.

摘要: Techniques for leveraging legacy code to deploy native-code desktop applications over a network (e.g., the Web) are described herein. These techniques include executing an application written in native code within a memory region that hardware of a computing device enforces. For instance, page-protection hardware (e.g., a memory management unit) or segmentation hardware may protect this region of memory in which the application executes. The techniques may also provide a narrow system call interface out of this memory region by dynamically enforcing system calls made by the application. Furthermore, these techniques may enable a browser of the computing device to function as an operating system for the native-code application. These techniques thus allow for execution of native-code applications on a browser of a computing device and, hence, over the Web in a resource-efficient manner and without sacrificing security of the computing device.

摘要: Methods and systems for framing detection are disclosed. A web page comprising a child frame is generated. The child frame comprises an instruction to load a component from a merchant. The child frame comprises a header option restricting a loading of the component from within a parent frame associated with a domain external to the merchant. The web page is sent from the merchant to a client browser. It is determined that the web page is loaded within the parent frame in the client browser if a request for the component is not received by the merchant. It is determined that the web page is not loaded within the parent frame in the client browser if a request for the component is received by the merchant.

摘要: A method of constructing and creating a proposed cinema selection may receive, from a plurality of users, selected cinema elements to create a plurality of proposed cinema selections and store, in a memory, the plurality of proposed cinema selections along with corresponding selected cinema elements. The method may also include displaying one of the plurality of proposed cinema selections along with a plurality of the selected cinema elements, receiving voting authorization for a user that a payment has been received to allow voting for one of a plurality of proposed cinema selections; and receiving at least one voting value identifying which of the plurality of proposed cinema selections has been voted on by at least one user. The method also include aggregating the voting values received for proposed cinema selections; and displaying a list of the proposed cinema selections having a highest ranking based on the voting values.
