摘要: A separator for electrochemical elements is formed of beaten regenerated cellulose fibers and capable of withstanding a common element winding process for an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, while having denseness and low impedance characteristics. The separator is interposed between a pair of electrodes, while capable of holding an electrolyte solution that contains an electrolyte, is configured from a single layer so as to have a thickness of 10 to 35 μm, a density of 0.35 to 0.80 g/cm3, a tensile strength of 9.8 N/15 mm or more, an average pore diameter of 0.05 to 1.00 μm, and a modified tensile strength of 5.9 N/15 mm or more, if the value of a tensile strength as measured by setting the distance between holders of a tensile testing machine to 0.1 mm and the elongation rate of a test piece to 200 mm/min is defined as the modified tensile strength.

摘要: A cellulose solution obtained by dissolving cellulose in an amine oxide solvent is formed in a film form, and the resulting cellulose solution is immersed in water or a poor solvent of the amine oxide solvent, so as to coagulate and regenerate the cellulose. The regenerated cellulose is washed with water to remove the amine oxide solvent, and then dried, thereby obtaining a cellulose film that is thin, uniform, and dense and has few impurities. An aluminum electrolytic capacitor, which has been down-sized and/or capacity enlarged, can be constructed by interleaving the obtained cellulose film as a separator between an anode aluminum foil and a cathode aluminum foil and winding them into a capacitor element, immersing the capacitor element in liquid electrolyte so as to impregnate it with the electrolyte, placing it in a case, and then sealing it closed and aging it.

摘要: Water content sensing and informing system for a disposable diaper consisting of water permeable inner sheet, water absorber, and water impermeable outer sheet, comprises at least one pair of metal layers, one surface of one layer being covered with an electric insulating layer, formed between the water impermeable outer sheet and the water absorber, a detector for detecting water content absorbed in the diaper, and an informing mechanism for informing the detected result. The pair of metal layers is isolated with constant distance to each other and extended in the longitudinal direction of the diaper. The pair of metal layers is formed in a thin layer by a lamination or vacuum evaporation of a metal leaf. The informing mechanism is selected from a visual, auditory, remote informing device using an oscillator and receiver, or combination of these.

摘要: An electrolytic capacitor comprises an anode foil, a cathode foil, and an electrolytic paper interposed between the anode foil and cathode foil. The electrolytic paper is formed with a plurality of discontinuous projections on its one side and recesses corresponding to the projections in its other side by a secondary working step after a paper producing step. This electrolytic paper is thicker and has a low density in comparison with its non-treated state before the secondary working step.

摘要: A separator for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, the separator being formed of natural cellulose fibers and beaten regenerated cellulose fibers, and having excellent tear strength, short-circuit resistance and impedance characteristics. The separator for aluminum electrolytic capacitors is interposed between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, and is formed of from 50% by mass to 90% by mass of natural cellulose fibers and from 50% by mass to 10% by mass of beaten regenerated cellulose fibers. The separator for aluminum electrolytic capacitors is configured to have a specific tear strength of from 20 to 100 mN·m2/g and a short-circuit rate of 10% or less during application of 500 V in separator dielectric breakdown testing.
