    摘要: This invention relates to a novel organophotoreceptor that includes: (a) a charge transport material comprising a fluorenone hydrazone having a) at least two fluorenone alkylsulfonylphenylhydrazone groups, b) at least two fluorenone pyrrolylhydrazone groups, c) at least two fluorenone benzotriazolylhydrazone groups, d) at least two fluorenone sulfolanylhydrazone groups, e) at least two fluorenone pyrazolylhydrazone groups, f) at least two fluorenone naphthylhydrazone groups, g) at least two fluorenone tetrazolylhydrazone groups, h) at least two fluorenone stilbenylhydrazone groups, or i) at least two fluorenone (9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)benzylhydrazone groups. Some of these fluoreneones may be represented by the formula where n is an integer between 2 and 6, inclusive; R1 is hydrogen, an alkyl group, or an aryl group; R2 is an alkylsulfonylphenyl or one of its derivatives; X is a linking group. The compounds may form electrostatic imaging systems in combination with (b) a charge generating compound; and (c) an electrically conductive substrate.

    摘要: A process for heteroatom removal-enhancing hydrogenation of highly refractory aromatic ring structures that involves contacting a highly refractory structure having at least one aryl linkage connecting a first heteroaryl moiety and a moiety selected from the group consisting of an aryl moiety and a second heteroaryl moiety with supercritical water having a temperature of from about 400.degree. C. to about 600.degree. C. in the presence of from about 3.4 MPa to about 18.6 MPa of CO to produce lower molecular weight products having decreased aromatic and heteroatom content. The process has utility for producing more valuable lower molecular weight products having a reduced aromatic heteroatom content from starting materials that are highly refractory and widely considered to be difficult to upgrade such as coals and asphaltenes, and model compounds containing the biaryl linkages.

    摘要: The invention is a process for the aqueous conversion and upgrading of organic resource materials carried out by contacting organic resource materials selected from the group consisting of coal, shale, coal liquids, shale oil, and bitumen with liquid water in the absence of externally supplied hydrogen or reducing agents, controlling the temperature in the range from above about 200.degree. C. to below the critical temperature of water to maintain water in a liquid phase, wherein the pressure is the corresponding vapor pressure (autogenous pressure) of the system, for a time sufficient to effect the conversion and upgrading process. Additionally, the contacting may be conducted in the presence of a catalyst selected from the group consisting of a brine catalyst, clay catalyst and mixtures thereof.
