摘要: A circulated pneumatic tube transit system is used to transport passengers/cargo along a pair of pneumatic tubes, which are positioned along each other. Capsules are movably suspended within the tubes by either a maglev system or wheels. The capsules travel in opposite directions in each tube so that the system provides back and forth transportation between two destinations. A fluid loop mechanism cycles a volume of air through the tubes as a means to propel the capsules through each tube. A series of fluid loop mechanism can be air multipliers as the volume of air cycles through the tubes. Two one-directional valves are located at opposite ends of the tubes and are used to transfer the kinetic energy for an arriving capsule within one tube into kinetic energy for a departing capsule within the other tube.

摘要: A method and device for accurately positioning patients for imaging and radiotherapy is disclosed. The device includes a support platform (such as a bed, a table, a couch, a chair, etc.) connected to a fixed base by at least two and preferably four offset supporting arms. The support arms are journaled into the support platform at passive-rotatable pivot joints and are journaled into the base at active-rotatable pivot points. The base contains actuators (manual or powered by motors, pneumatics or hydraulics) for articulating the support arms. The relative lengths of the support arms may be varied to create a pre-defined trajectory of the support platform, between a starting spatial position and orientation to an ending spatial position and orientation, and through a continuous range there between. This makes it possible to position a patient within a range from a low, standing up position to a high, forwarding, prone or supine position, or vice versa.

摘要: A dispensing apparatus includes a support frame, a receiving tube, a dispenser, a slide rail, a screw rod, a driving assembly, and a push piston. The receiving tube is fixed to the support frame. The receiving tube defines a tube cavity for receiving glue materials, and an output tube communicating with the receiving tube. The dispenser is connected to the receiving tube. A slide rail is fixed on the support frame, and a sliding member is slidably connected to the slide rail. A screw rod engages with the sliding member. A driving assembly drives a screw rod to move. A push piston is fixed on the sliding member, and is partially received in the receiving tube for pushing glue materials to flow to the dispenser.

摘要: The horizontally opposed center fired engine improves on the traditional design of the horizontally opposed engines and center fired engines with a better engine geometry. The present invention utilizes four pairs of opposing pistons to compress a larger volume of air-fuel mixture within four different cylinders. The four different cylinders are radially positioned around a center axle in order to achieve a perfectly symmetric engine geometry. The center axle consists of two different shafts spinning in two different directions, which could drastically reduce engine vibrations in the present invention. Engine vibrations are caused by a change in engine speed and result in a loss of energy. Due to the design, the present invention will only experience energy loss in the form of entropy and friction. Thus, the present invention can convert a higher percentage of chemical energy into mechanical energy than any other internal combustion engine.
