    摘要: The invention provides a power divider, comprising: a plurality of transmission stages and a plurality of ground layers alternately arranged on respective ones of a plurality of dielectric layers, a first transmission stage being arranged on a first dielectric layer, and a last transmission stage being arranged below a last dielectric layer; wherein the plurality of transmission stages are arrayed vertically, each consisting of a loop formed by a transmission line; the first transmission stage has a first opening connected by a resistor, and each of the remaining transmission stages has the first opening connected by the resistor and a second opening without a resistor; two ends of the first opening of one of the adjacent transmission stages are connected to two ends of the second opening of the other one of the adjacent transmission stages by via transitions, in a top-to-bottom direction; and each ground layer has clearances through which the via transitions pass. The invention also provides a method of fabricating the power divider.

    摘要: A circulated pneumatic tube transit system is used to transport passengers/cargo along a pair of pneumatic tubes, which are positioned along each other. Capsules are movably suspended within the tubes by either a maglev system or wheels. The capsules travel in opposite directions in each tube so that the system provides back and forth transportation between two destinations. A fluid loop mechanism cycles a volume of air through the tubes as a means to propel the capsules through each tube. A series of fluid loop mechanism can be air multipliers as the volume of air cycles through the tubes. Two one-directional valves are located at opposite ends of the tubes and are used to transfer the kinetic energy for an arriving capsule within one tube into kinetic energy for a departing capsule within the other tube.

    摘要: The invention provides a tag identification system, a tag reading apparatus, and a method for determining sequence of tags. According to an aspect of the invention, a tag identification system comprises a tag reading apparatus and a plurality of tags, wherein: the tag reading apparatus has at least two antennas, wherein the apparatus transmits an interrogation signal within the coverage of each of the antennas; the plurality of tags sequentially pass by the coverage of each of the at least two antennas, each of the plurality of tags returning a reply to the at least two antennas in response to a received interrogation signal; and the tag reading apparatus includes a sequence determination unit which determines the sequence in which the plurality of tags pass by based on replies returned from the plurality of tags and received by the at least two antennas.
