    摘要: A mat includes a mat body defining an upper surface dimensioned for a user to stand on the upper surface. The upper surface is non-planar and includes at least one terrain feature defining the non-planarity. The terrain feature has a size that is on the order of magnitude of the size of the user's foot. Presenting this surface to the user may help remind him or her to move his or her feet to thereby adopt multiple poses, thereby preventing the user from maintaining any single pose for a fatigue-inducing duration.

    摘要: A multiple stage synthesis gas generation system is disclosed including a high radiant heat flux reactor, a gasifier reactor control system, and a Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) reactor. The SMR reactor is in parallel and cooperates with the high radiant heat flux reactor to produce a high quality syngas mixture for MeOH synthesis. The resultant products from the two reactors may be used for the MeOH synthesis. The SMR provides hydrogen rich syngas to be mixed with the potentially carbon monoxide rich syngas from the high radiant heat flux reactor. The combination of syngas component streams from the two reactors can provide the required hydrogen to carbon monoxide ratio for methanol synthesis. The SMR reactor control system and a gasifier reactor control system interact to produce a high quality syngas mixture for the MeOH synthesis.

    摘要: A vapor compression system having a defrost cycle is disclosed. A compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, and an expansion valve connected in a closed refrigerant loop with at least one flow control device. The at least one flow control device may control the flow of refrigerant through the closed refrigerant loop. At least one sensor monitors a predetermined parameter of the closed refrigerant loop and at least one controller receives a signal from the at least one sensor. The at least one controller controls the position of the at least one flow control device. The at least one controller initiates a defrost cycle in the closed refrigerant loop by substantially actuating at least one of the at least one flow control device to provide refrigerant flow from the compressor to the evaporator for substantially preventing formation of frost on the evaporator.
