Abstract: A method and system for providing stimulation to a user, the method including: transitioning a stimulation device from a baseline state to a first impedance monitoring state; during the first impedance monitoring state, guiding, an adjustment of a position of the stimulation device at a head region of the user to satisfy a first impedance criterion; upon satisfaction of the first impedance criterion, transitioning the stimulation device from the first impedance monitoring state to a stimulation regime that comprises a second monitoring state having a second criterion; upon detection of failure to satisfy the second criterion, transitioning the stimulation device from the stimulation regime to the first impedance monitoring state; and upon detecting that a third impedance criterion of the first impedance monitoring state is satisfied, transitioning the stimulation device from the first impedance monitoring state to the stimulation regime.

Abstract: A system for delivering electrical stimulation includes a control system and a stimulation stack. Additionally or alternatively, the system can include and/or be configured to interface with any or all of: an electrical stimulation device, a user device, a client application, and/or any other suitable components. A method for delivering electrical stimulation includes receiving an input and delivering electrical stimulation based on an electrical stimulation plan. Additionally or alternatively, the method can include any or all of: determining an electrical stimulation plan based on the input; requesting a suspension of the electrical stimulation plan, requesting an adjustment to the electrical stimulation plan; requesting sham stimulation in the electrical stimulation plan; requesting monitoring of the electrical stimulation plan; requesting a trim adjustment to the electrical stimulation plan; checking the electrical stimulation plan; providing an output to the user; repeating any or all of the above processes; and/or any other suitable processes.

Abstract: A method for providing electrical stimulation to a user as a user performs a set of tasks during a time window, the method comprising: providing an electrical stimulation treatment, characterized by a stimulation parameter and a set of portions, to a brain region of the user in association with the time window; for each task of the set of tasks: receiving a signal stream characterizing a neurological state of the user; from the signal stream, identifying a neurological signature characterizing the neurological state associated with the task; and modulating the electrical stimulation treatment provided to the brain region of the user based upon the neurological signature, wherein modulating comprises delivering a portion of the set of portions of the electrical stimulation treatment to the brain region of the user, while maintaining an aggregate amount of the stimulation parameter of the treatment provided during the time window below a maximum limit.

Abstract: A method for providing electrical stimulation to a user, the method comprising: providing an electrical stimulation device, in communication with a controller, at a head region of the user; with the electrical stimulation device, providing a stimulation treatment having a waveform configured for neuromodulation in the user; with the controller, performing an adjustment to the stimulation treatment, wherein performing the adjustment includes: generating a transformed waveform with application of a transfer function to the waveform, wherein the transfer function scales the waveform and selectively attenuates extreme waveform values while maintaining a frequency characteristic of the waveform in the transformed waveform; and applying the transformed waveform with the electrical stimulation device, thereby modulating the stimulation treatment.

Abstract: A system for individualizing neuromodulation includes a neurostimulation device having a set of electrodes, and an application executing on a user device. Additionally or alternatively, the system can include any or all of: a sensor system, a head-securing mechanism, a remote server, storage, an accessory device, and any other suitable component. A method for individualizing neuromodulation includes determining a task of interest to a user; determining a user skill level associated with the task; determining a set of goals; determining an individualized neuromodulation program comprising a neurostimulation pattern; and delivering the neurostimulation pattern to the user. Additionally or alternatively, the method can include any or all of: determining user progress; displaying user progress; receiving user feedback; determining and/or adapting neuromodulation program based on user progress and/or user feedback; and any other suitable process.
