摘要: A power assisted electric bicycle includes a body, a motor, a torque sensor, and a controller. The motor is operated in an operating period. The torque sensor is configured to output a plurality of torque signals corresponding to a pedal force. The controller is coupled to the motor and the torque sensor. The controller is configured to: receive the torque signals from the torque sensor; determine a peak and a valley, which is adjacent to the peak, among the torque signals; compute and determine a pedaling period between the peak and the valley, which is adjacent to the peak, among the torque signals; and generate an error signal associated with the torque sensor if it is determined that the pedaling period and the operating period fail to meet a default ratio.

摘要: A network of collection and distribution machines may collect, charge and/or distribute portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). Electric vehicles available for sharing, renting or otherwise available for temporary use may be located at such collection and distribution machines or other designated areas. Users may request temporary use of such electric vehicles via a user interface of the collection and distribution machine, the user's mobile device or that of the electric vehicle itself. During temporary use, the user may exchange depleted portable electrical energy storage devices of the vehicle being used for charged portable electrical energy storage devices at the collection and distribution machines and may be offered the opportunity to terminate the temporary use session or continue the temporary use session in conjunction with the portable electrical energy storage device exchange.

摘要: A stem includes a stem body, a column and a locking device. The stem body is provided with a perforation. The column is disposed at one end of the stem body and provided with a first aperture, the perforation is in communication with the first aperture. The locking device is disposed in the perforation and includes a clamping part, two sliding blocks and a first fixing member, the clamping part is located between the sliding blocks, and the first fixing member penetrates the clamping part and the sliding blocks. When the first fixing member moves toward the inside of the perforation, the first fixing member drives the sliding blocks to approach each other and squeeze the clamping part, such that the clamping part moves in a direction toward the first aperture. According to this, the assembly and disassembly procedures of the present invention are quite simple and easy to operate.

摘要: A network of collection, charging and distribution machines collect, charge and distribute portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). To allow easy and convenient access to empty portable electrical energy storage device compartments within the vehicles, if the vehicle comes within the vicinity of a collection, charging and distribution machine or other authorized external device such as a key fob or other wireless device of a user, an empty portable electrical energy storage device compartment that is closed or locked, is unlocked, unlatched or opened automatically. Also, if the portable electrical energy storage device compartment is in another desired state to have the compartment unlocked, such as having a portable electrical energy storage device in the compartment that has a charge level below a particular threshold, the compartment will likewise be unlocked, unlatched or opened automatically.

摘要: Methods and associated systems for managing a battery-exchange station are provided. The method includes (1) receiving, from a server, demand information for the battery-exchange station corresponding to a first time period; and (2) forming a charging plan for a plurality of batteries positioned in the battery-exchange station corresponding to the first time period based on a first instruction set stored in the battery-exchange station and the demand information corresponding to the first time period. The first instruction set includes one or more charging rules and information indicative of assigning the one or more charging rules to each of the batteries positioned in the battery-exchange station. The charging plan comprises one or more assigned charging rules for each of the batteries positioned in the battery-exchange station.
