Abstract:
A metal panel, a manufacturing method thereof and a cooking device using the metal panel capable of improving an external appearance of edges, enhancing efficiency of a manufacturing process and reducing the manufacturing cost. The manufacturing method of a metal panel includes cutting a metal plate to form a cutaway portion at a specified area of a border, bending the border on opposite sides of the cutaway portion, and coupling a bracket to a cutaway groove formed at the border by the bending.
Abstract:
Provided is a heating cooker which allows a door on a cooking chamber to be opened without direct handling of the door by a user. The heating cooker includes a body having a cooking chamber defined therein, a door hingably mounted to the body to open and close the cooking chamber, a door holder positioned in the body to hold the door and keep the cooking chamber closed by the door, and a hinge part connected between the door and the body to guide rotation of the door such that when the door is released from the door holder, the door is automatically opened.
Abstract:
A bread maker including a main body having an oven compartment with a front opening, a door to open and close the front opening of the oven compartment, a pair of kneading drums spaced apart from each other inside the oven compartment and winding a mixing bag filled with ingredients for bread thereon, a drum driver driving the kneading drums to rotate, a heater heating the inside of the oven compartment, and a heater driver driving the heater to operate. The bread maker includes a door sensor sensing whether the door is open or closed; and a controller controlling the drum driver and the heater driver to suspend the kneading drum and the heater, respectively, when the door sensor senses that the door is open. With this configuration, the bread maker and a method of controlling the same, suspends heaters and kneading drums when a door is open while the bread maker operates, thereby increasing safety and decreasing loss of heat and electrical energy.
Abstract:
A steam generating apparatus, and an oven including the same. The apparatus includes a water tank adapted to enable convenient cleaning, and is adapted to heat water in the water tank via an induction heating method to generate steam rapidly. The water tank is provided with a steam discharging pipe. The apparatus further includes an induction coil assembly, an induction heating member fitted to the water tank such that it is located near the induction coil assembly, a barrier inserted into the water tank such that only a small amount of water is directly heated by the induction heating member which generates heat by the induction coil assembly, and a cover closing an upper portion of the water tank. The steam discharging pipe is connected with a steam supplying pipe which communicates a cavity with a cooking compartment to supply steam from the apparatus to the cooking compartment.
Abstract:
A bread maker having a main body, an oven accommodated in the main body, a baking tray provided inside the oven, and a door rotatably connected to the main body to open and close the oven, the bread maker including a sealing part on an inside of the door to prevent leakage of heat from the oven, and a rib extending from the baking tray to contact the sealing part. The sealing part of the door contacts a rib formed on the baking tray when the door is closed so that the sealing part does not protrude into the oven, which prevents the sealing part from being damaged or deformed by an external force, and allows the door to be manufactured using a simple assembling process that increases productivity. The bottom of the oven includes a protuberant part that minimizes the effects of an external force.
Abstract:
A grill cooker that efficiently cools a grilling unit to prevent food from sticking to the grilling unit, and a multipurpose cooking apparatus in which the grill cooker is installed. The grill cooker includes a grilling unit on an upper portion of a cabinet, an air cooling unit on an outside of the cabinet, and a connection member on the upper portion of the cabinet. The grilling unit includes a grilling pipe having an inlet and an outlet. The air cooling unit includes a blowing fan and an air discharging pipe. The connection member has a tapered hole. The inlet of the grilling pipe is connected to an upper portion of the tapered hole, and the air discharging pipe is connected to a lower end of the tapered hole. The grill cooker is removably set in a recess in an upper portion of the multipurpose cooking apparatus.
Abstract:
A bread maker including an oven compartment, parallel kneading drums inside the oven compartment that alternate between winding and unwinding rotations, and a drum driving part rotating the kneading drums. Each kneading drum includes a rotation shaft rotating according to the drum driving part; a hollow, cylindrical drum member disposed concentrically along an axis of the rotation shaft; and a clutch between the rotation shaft and the drum member, transmitting a rotary movement from the rotation shaft to the drum member in one direction and allowing the drum member to freewheel in the other direction.
Abstract:
A cooking apparatus having a grill part to cook food thereon, and electric heaters as a heating source to cook food, including: a grill reflecting member reflecting a heat generated from the electric heaters to the grill part, having an oil guiding hole which guides oil coming out of food being cooked; and an oil collector disposed in a lower side of the grill reflection member, collecting the oil passing through the oil guiding hole downward. Thus, the oil generated in the course of cooking can be collected in the oil collector through the grill reflection member, thereby providing a cooking apparatus that can enhance cooking efficiency.
Abstract:
A microwave oven includes a pair of terminal members for connecting between a power source and a high voltage transformer, respectively. The terminal members are isolated electrically from each other by means of remote-locating, respectively. A conducting member is installed in the door, and both ends thereof are revealed on the one side of the door. The pair of terminal members contact with ends of the conducting member when the door is closed. Then, the supply of current supplied from electrical power to the high voltage transformer is controlled. Accordingly, the structure of the microwave oven is simplified. The AC/DC type microwave oven is capable of being prevented from encountering faulty switching operations according to large amounts of direct current when the DC input power source is used.
Abstract:
A method for making a commutator comprising steps of arranging at least one pair of commutator members to be spaced apart from each other, and molding a product by injecting an insulating resin; shaping the product to the product having a real circular sectional cross section; heating the product to a predetermined temperature; cutting protruding resin portions between the commutator members, to the align outer circumference of the commutator body with the outer surfaces of the commutator members. The predetermined temperature is that which rises when the commutator is rotated, and accordingly the predetermined temperature ranges from sixty to eighty degrees Centigrade (60° C.-80° C.). The finished commutator has grooves on the commutator body between the commutator members. The grooves undergo thermal expansion when the commutator is rotated and the temperature rises to a predetermined degree, so that the commutator has a real circular sectional cross section. Accordingly, the contact between the commutator and the input and output brushes is properly performed, and no noise occurs.
