    摘要: A sensor failure and detection apparatus and method for use in a redundant sensor system are disclosed. A control circuit disconnects reference power supplied to a sensor and then monitors the voltage decay output by the sensor. The monitored rate of voltage decay of the sensor is compared to the expected natural voltage decay of the sensor to detect failures caused by short or open circuits. An error counter keeps track of the number of failures. After a threshold number of times in which the monitored voltage decay does not compare to a predicted rate of decay, power to the sensor is removed and the sensor is isolated from the system.

    摘要: An anti-skid brake control device has a control circuit 6 to which signals from a steering angle sensor 14, a yaw detector 7 and respective wheel velocity sensors 3a.about.3d of a motor vehicle are inputted, an oil pressure actuator 5 controls of the pressure of the braking fluid for respective wheel cylinders 2a.about.2d based upon target slip rates Sfrt. Sflt, Srrt and Srlt and measured slip rates Sfr, Sfl, Srr and Srl for the respective wheels calculated in the control circuit 6. The target slip rates for the respective wheels, which are principally determined dependent upon the deviation .beta. between compensated target yaw angular acceleration .omega.R and measured yaw angular acceleration .omega., are set independently and are modified dependent upon the motor vehicle body velocity, whereby the braking forces for the respective wheels are independently controlled . In this way, it is possible to suppress generated yaw moment and to improve stability of the motor vehicle, while also safely reducing the braking distance.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for controlling a throttle valve driven by a D.C. motor in an internal combustion engine, in which the D.C. motor is driven until a valve position sensor detecting the angular position of the throttle valve generates an output signal which coincides with the output signal of an accelerator pedal sensor detecting the amount of depression of an accelerator pedal of a vehicle. The value of motor current required for causing very slight displacement of a return spring provided for returning the throttle valve toward a predetermined angular position is utilized for automatically compensating various factors of fluctuation attributable to friction, inertia, etc. of means driving the throttle valve. A small-capacity microprocessor is used to control the D.C. motor so that the throttle valve can operate with high accuracy and high-speed response capability without being adversely affected by changes in the operating condition as well as secular variations.

    摘要: An electronic throttle valve opening control system provides an actuating D.C. motor for opening or closing the throttle valve and a control circuit for controlling the D.C. motor current in response to the difference between the detected real throttle valve opening and a target value of the throttle valve opening. In addition to the above difference signal, the D.C. motor is controlled by a first correction quantity signal in accordance with variation of the detected throttle valve opening and a second correction quantity signal in accordance with the friction force existing in a valve opening control mechanism.
