摘要： The invention relates to a method for assisting the driver of a vehicle (10) when performing a driving maneuver, such as a parking or shunting maneuver. In this case, a reference trajectory (16) is determined, along which the vehicle (10) is to be moved. A steering wheel position to be set and controlling the vehicle along the reference trajectory (16) is indicated to the driver during the driving maneuver. The vehicle longitudinal speed is influenced independently of the driver in the event of a steering angle deviation between the actual steering angle actually set by the driver and the desired steering angle corresponding to the requested steering wheel position.As a result, the driver can be given a greater reaction time in order to set the indicated steering wheel position.

摘要： A method of null balancing a hand field-strength meter is described in which the effect of the measurement probe on the balancing is suppressed by short-circuiting the measurement probe by two MOS-FETs connected in series across the probe outputs so that the null balancing can be performed when the field-strength meter is located in the vicinity of a high strength field. In a preferred embodiment of the null balancing circuit for the meter another circuit branch consisting of two other complimentary MOS-FETs connected in series with each other is connected in parallel across the first two MOS-FETs via two resistors R1,R2.

摘要： A data-processing machine having a single operator station is provided with a printer comprising a supply holder on the front of the machine next to the operator station for holding a form band, a support on the machine next to the station with an upwardly concave surface, and a receptacle on the back of the machine below the support for catching the printed form band. A guide and a transport device is provided for guiding the band up from the supply holder in the front of the machine, over the surface of the printing station and down to the receptacle. A printing head which is vertically displaceable above the upwardly concave surface is displaceable horizontally along the surface to print the band. A guide slot extending down toward the supply is pivotal between a down position for normal operation of the machine and a raised position for threading a new form band in and a detent is provided for holding it in the up position during reloading. In addition, a magnetic-card printer is provided on the machine adjacent the operator station. Feelers engageable with the band detect when it runs out and emit an alarm for the operator.

摘要： To provide for uniformity of power dissipation in the components of the switching system, regardless of the duty cycle upon repetitive, cyclical operation, the coupling resistors connected to the driver transistor and to the power transistor are so dimensioned relative to each other, and to the internal resistances of the driver transistor and the power transistor of the system that, in an initial approximation, the dissipation losses arising in the system are independent of the duty cycle of the switching transistor; this is obtained by selecting the sum of the resistance value of the collector resistor for the driver transistor and the base transistor of the power transistor such that (a) when the driver transistor is blocked, current flowing to the base of the power transistor holds the power transistor in full, saturated conduction and (b) the value of the collector resistor for the driver transistor is so selected that, when the driver transistor is conductive, the sum of the dissipated power in the collector-emitter path of the driver transistor, and in the collector-resistor of the driver transistor is approximately equal to the sum of the power which is dissipated in the collector resistor of the driver, the base resistor of the power transistor and the collector-emitter path of the power transistor, when the driver transistor is in blocked state. The entire system can be constructed on a monolithic chip and has a particular application as the switching circuit in automotive voltage regulators.
