    摘要： An automatic transmission has a reduced axial dimension and includes a mission case portion providing a mounting surface for a valve body. Forces generated by a hydraulic servo in operation of a brake are confined to the inside of a rear cover joined to the mission case. An extension protrudes from the rear cover and extends into the interior of the mission case with a multi-plate brake splined thereto. The force generated in operation of the brake is received by the cylinder as a reaction force. However, since the hydraulic servo cylinder and the extension are both integral with the rear case, the reaction force is confined to the interior of the rear cover without acting on the mission case.

The memory pack further includes an LED energizing terminal, a light emission element which is connected between the LED energizing terminal and a positive power source terminal, the LED being lit by an energizing signal applied to the LED energizing terminal, a RAM energizing terminal and a photocoupler which is connected between the RAM energizing terminal and the random access memory and which responds to an energizing signal applied to the RAM energizing terminal to apply an output signal to the random access memory thereby to set the random access memory to be operative.

    摘要： A data processing apparatus for an electronic cash register comprises a keyboard having a plurality of entry keys, a printer, a memory unit, an interface circuit with which a memory pack storing sales data is mechanically, electrically and removably coupled and a data processing unit connected with the keyboard, the printer, the memory unit and the interface circuit. Responding to operations of one of the keys for sales data selection, the data processing unit energizes the memory pack connected to the interface circuit to read out the sales data corresponding to the operated sales information key from the energized memory pack and write the read-out sales data into the memory unit and then issue a print signal to the printer for printing the sales data.

    摘要： A hot press capable of minimizing a displacement of one substrate from another in multilayer printed circuit boards each constituted by a plurality of substrates having wiring pattern groups printed thereon which are pressed together by applying pressure into a multilayer printed circuit board. The end is attained by minimizing a variation in thickness from a central portion of the board to a peripheral portion thereof. The hot press includes plate thickness adjusting devices each interposed between each bolster and each heat insulating member to compress and deform the heat insulating members beforehand. By imparting a deformation beforehand to each heat insulating member, contacting surfaces of the heat insulating members become substantially planer when they are compressed as pressure is applied to the substrates to press them together into a multilayer printed circuit board, thereby minimizing the variation in thickness from one portion to another in the multilayer printed circuit board produced by the hot press.
