    摘要: The subject invention relates to the polyester compositions being composed of (a) an aromatic polyester having the relative viscosity of 1.2 to 2.0, (b) an aromatic polycarbonate having the number average molecular weight of 10,000 to 80,000, and (c) a glycidyl-group containing copolymer consisting essentially of .alpha.-olefine and glycidyl ester of .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and having the melt index of 0.1 to 100. They are useful for manufacturing electric, electronic and automotive parts, being superior in flow property and melt stability on molding, as well as in mechanical properties particularly in impact and hot-air aging resistance. The compositions can be molded to form various articles by conventional molding methods.

    摘要: A liquid crystal polyester resin composition which suppresses the formation of a blister caused by a heat treatment at a high temperature and has excellent moldability. This composition comprises (A) a liquid crystal polyester comprising at least two aromatic oxycarbonyl recurring units and (B) a liquid crystal polyester comprising at least two aromatic oxycarbonyl recurring units, at least one aromatic dioxy recurring unit and at least one aromatic dicarbonyl recurring unit. The weight ratio of the liquid crystal polyester (A) to the liquid crystal polyester (B) is 90/10 to 30/70.

    摘要: Rubber-modified styrenic resin compositions of this invention comprise 90 to 30% by weight of rubber-modified styrenic resins (A) containing rubbery polymers dispersed with an average particle diameter of 0.3 to 2.0 .mu.m in the phase of styrenic polymers (C) and 10 to 70% by weight of styrene-(meth)acrylate ester copolymer resins (B) and, in said compositions, the content of (meth)acrylate ester units is 5 to 50% by weight and the toluene-insolubles (% by weight: X) and the rubber component (% by weight: Y) are present at a ratio (X/Y) in the range from 1.2 to 3.5. The compositions excel in appearance, scratch resistance, impact resistance and rigidity and are easy to fabricate.

    摘要: Impact-modified and moldability-improved polyethylene terephthalate molding compositions are provided which comprise polyethylene terephthalate resins, a copolymer of .alpha.-olefins and glycidyl esters of .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically-unsaturated carboxylic acids and barium salt of fatty acids. Glass fiber reinforcement of the polyester compositions is preferable because of further enhancement of the moldability of the polyester composition thereof.     摘要: An aromatic dicarboxylic acid composition, essentially consisting of (a) at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid; (b) 1-3000 ppm of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 6-formyl-2-naphthoic acid, 6-methoxycarbonyl-2-naphthoic acid and trimellitic acid; (c) 1-1000 ppm of at least one alkali metal and (d) 0-3000 ppm of at least one transition metal is provided. By employing the composition in manufacturing liquid crystalline polyester, LPCs with good coloring property and improved heat resistance as well as excellent mechanical property can be obtained. The present invention also provides a liquid crystalline polyester resin prepared by using the composition.

    摘要: Disclosed is a polyester composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyester; (b) 0.005-10 parts by weight of an epoxy compound of the formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein Ar means C.sub.6 -C.sub.20 aromatic group or C.sub.6 l-C.sub.20 alicyclic group, n means an integer of 0-20); and (c) 1-70 parts by weight of at least one elastomer which has at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of epoxy groups, carboxyl group, carboxylate ester groups, carboxylic acid amide groups, acid anhydride group, imide groups, carboxylate salt groups, hydroxyl group, amino group and cyano group, the elastomer having a tensile modulus of 1-6,000 kg/cm.sup.2. The polyester resin composition of the present invention can easily be molded and the obtained molded article excells in mechanical properties such as impact strength. The obtained molded article also excells in flowability and residence stability during the molding, and in hydrolysis stablity, resistance to thermal cycling and in weatherability.
