摘要: Disclosed herein is a polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based method for detecting an insertion/deletion variant, as compared with a reference sequence, in a selected region of a target gene in a sample. The target gene has a template strand and a coding strand complementary to the template strand. The method uses a primer set that includes a blocking primer, and a forward primer. The blocking primer and the forward primer are partially overlapping and have different melting temperatures, and the 3′-end of the blocking primer is modified to prevent the extension of the blocking primer during the PCR. Accordingly, under specific PCR conditions, the presence of the PCR product is indicative of the presence of an insertion/deletion mutation in the selected region, and the absence of the PCR product is indicative of the absence of an insertion/deletion mutation in the selected region.

摘要: An interactive learning management method includes abilities to automatically establish group settings on the learning communication mobile application based on the user identities, and to conduct real-time information transmission of class announcements, test paper scores, tutor comments and replies etc, to carry out learning interactions with the teacher by recording video clips of questions and answers, and to download mobile applications for learning via the Internet. The method provides a realization for transmission of learning information and archive photos by the users on the mobile device end through the learning communication mobile application and for downloading remote learning-oriented mobile applications for use, so that users can conduct real-time information notifications or learning through the mobile applications oriented to specific courses on the mobile device without limit of time and place. As a result, learning efficiency can be greatly increased.

摘要: A portable electronic device adapted to be detachably connected to a cradle having a containing cavity is provided, wherein an inner wall of the containing cavity has a recess. The portable electronic device includes a body and a locking-and-releasing mechanism disposed in the body and including a driving unit and a latch. The driving unit is disposed in the body. The latch is connected to the driving unit and suitable for being driven by the driving unit to protrude out of the body or hide in the body. When the portable electronic device is disposed in the containing cavity, the driving unit drives the latch to protrude out of the body and be engaged with the recess. When the portable electronic device is going to be detached from the containing cavity, the driving unit drives the latch to be disengaged from the recess and move back in the body.

The system may comprise: a plurality of transceivers, each of which comprises a laser configured to generate an optical carrier, the generated optical carrier being modulated by electrical downstream p-t-p data so as to generate optical downstream p-t-p IRZ signal; a PM configured to modulate the generated optical downstream p-t-p IRZ signal by electrical multicast data so as to generate orthogonally modulated signal; and a DI configured to demodulate the orthogonally modulated data and has a frequency response peak or dip in response to the demodulating, wherein an offset of a laser center wavelength of the laser from the frequency response peak or dip is adjustable so as to selectively enable or disable the multicast data.

摘要: A high power density or low forward voltage rectifier which utilizes at least one trench in both the anode and cathode. The trenches are formed in opposing surfaces of the substrate, to increase the junction surface area per unit surface area of the semiconductor die. This structure allows for increased current loads without increased horizontal die space. The increased current handling capability allows for the rectifier to operate at lower forward voltages. Furthermore, the present structure provides for increased substrate usage by up to 30 percent.

摘要: A method and a system for simulating a three-dimensional (3D) operating interface are provided. The method includes defining a partition line to partition a display frame of a screen into a first area and a second area, and defining a size of a unit grid to establish a first grid plane and a second grid plane in the first area and the second area respectively, the first grid plane and the second grid plane forming a simulated 3D grid space. The method also includes taking the unit grid as a unit to define an object size and an initial grid coordinate of an object. The initial grid coordinate is on one of the first and the second grid planes. The method further includes mapping out a simulated 3D space in the simulated 3D grid space for displaying the object according to the initial grid coordinate and the object size.
