The multi-channel optical module may include a plurality of optical devices receiving or transmitting optical signals, a housing for optically coupling the plurality of optical devices to an optical fiber, at least one optical filter separating or multiplexing the optical signals according to wavelengths of the optical signals between the optical fiber and the plurality of optical devices, and at least one filter holder protruding into an inside of the housing. The optical filter may be mounted on the filter holder to align optical paths between the optical fiber and the optical devices.

The bi-directional optical transmitting and receiving apparatus includes: a package having a cavity and allowing a plurality of lead wires to pass therethrough; a platform mounted on the package and including a through hole formed above the cavity and having sloped surfaces; a reception unit mounted within the cavity and generating an electrical signal corresponding to input light made incident to the cavity through the through hole and outputting the generated electrical signal to at least one of the plurality of lead wires; a transmission unit mounted on the platform and generating output light according to an electrical signal transmitted through at least one of the plurality of lead wires; and a wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) filter mounted on the platform to transfer the output light toward an optical fiber and the input light toward the through hole.

    摘要: An optical communication module which uses a single optical fiber to enable bidirectional communication or multiplexing communication is provided. The optical communication module includes a platform configured to have a through-hole therein which vertically passes through the platform; an optical receiver configured to be provided on the platform and include a light-receiving element; an optical transmitter configured to be provided on the platform and include a light-emitting element; and an optical filter configured to be provided on one surface of the platform to correspond to the through-hole, transmit light from the light-emitting element to an optical line, and transmit light input through the optical line to the light-receiving element, where one of the light-receiving element and the light-emitting element is provided on one surface of the platform on an opposite side of the optical line with the optical filter interposed therebetween, and the other is provided on the other surface of the platform to correspond to the through-hole. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the manufacturing cost, minimize the optical or electrical crosstalk, and maximize the optical coupling efficiency.

The multi-channel optical module may include a stem including one or more cavities; at least one lead pin formed in one or more cavities; a plurality of optical devices formed in the one or more cavities; and a filter portion forming an optical path between the plurality of optical devices and an optical fiber by separating a plurality of optical signals according to a wavelength. According to the inventive concept, processing capacity of the optical module may be improved. Also, according to the inventive concept, electrical and optical cross talk of the optical module may be reduced.

    摘要: An optical waveguide device and an optical communication module are provided. In the optical waveguide device which includes a core and a cladding layer formed around the core and has one end formed to be inclined so as to refract input and output signals, the core includes therein a diffraction portion for diffracting an optical signal incident through the cladding layer to propagate straight through the core. Thus, it is possible to prevent deterioration of an optical signal coupling ratio in implementing a technique of transmitting optical signals in opposite directions.

    摘要: Provided is an image extraction method of optical phase extraction system. The image extraction method may include checking whether a phase error due to an environmental disturbance of optical fiber occurs by monitoring an output signal obtained by interfering reflection optical signals reflected through two paths. When a phase error occurs, an error is compensated using a phase compensation control method of closed loop type through one of the two paths and an image is extracted by capturing an image of object in a state that the image of object is shifted by the set phase value when a phase error is compensated. According to the inventive concept, a phase error occurring in an optical fiber type interferometer due to an environmental disturbance is minimized or compensated. Also, since an interference image accurately shifted by the phase value set among arbitrary various phase values is obtained through a camera, reliability of three-dimensional phase information being extracted is guaranteed.
