    摘要： A roof system for a vehicle includes a panel assembly having a transparent roof panel (14), a privacy panel (18), and a transparent display panel (16). An image generator (40) is configured to display an image on the display panel (16) and a control system operates the image generator (40) and actuates the privacy panel (18) between a transparent mode and an opaque mode. The system may also includes a perimeter trim member (20) having a perimeter ventilation system surrounding the panels. The transparent display panel (16) may also be provided with a user interface region having instruments, displays and touch-activated switches (52). The system may also include ambient lighting bands (60) adjacent to the perimeter of the panels.

    摘要： A seat module electrification system includes electrical contacts on the seat and electrical contacts on the module. In the preferred and illustrated embodiment the electrical terminals on the seat comprise conductive strips located proximate a pocket adapted to receive the module and the electrical terminals on the module comprise formed terminals having a conductive tip, the module terminals being arranged to engage the strips when the module is placed in the pocket. The module may be attached to the pocket in a variety of ways including a mechanical latch system or other fasteners. In one illustrated form of the invention, a switch is provided so that power does not pass to the strips unless the module is attached to the seat.

    摘要： A combined speaker and locking member extend through an aperture in a vehicle headliner to mount the speaker to the headliner. The locking member includes offset locking flanges which engage the upper surface of the headliner when installed, and the speaker includes locking tabs extending through the slots in the headliner for engaging the lower surface of the headliner. The speaker further includes a pair of locking slots which receive the offset locking flanges of the locking member such that the locking member and speaker move together during installation. The speaker is locked into position by a raised locking surface formed on the side of the locking flanges facing the headliner to extend into the opposed slots of the headliner when the speaker is rotated with its tabs positioned on the opposite side of the headliner.

    摘要： A molded article with multi-material or color and soft portions and a method of making the same is disclosed. The molded article comprises a multi injection substrate, and a coverstock or skin. The article is formed by a process wherein the coverstock or skin is secured within the mold, a first material is injected into a first cavity, a retractor member is moved to define a second cavity, and a second material is injected into the second cavity. The first and second materials may be different types of plastic, different colors, or combinations thereof. The first cavity is defined by two mold sections (e.g., a cavity and a core) and the retractor member. The second cavity is also defined by the two mold sections, the retractor member, and the (at least partially) hardened first material. The first material may be configured to couple to the second material by a locking interface provided by recesses and/or projections on the mold sections. A method of forming the flexible skin may include coupling a compressible material to the skin; positioning the skin and compressible material in a mold; and forming a rigid substrate around the skin and compressible material providing a first soft region wherein the compressible material is disposed between the skin and the substrate so that a first soft region is defined by the compressible material.
