Abstract: A dynamic vision sensor (DVS) color camera (DVS-CCam) operable to acquire a color image of a scene, the DVS-CCam including a DVS photosensor comprising DVS pixels, an illuminator operable to transmit a light pattern characterized by temporal changes in intensity and color to illuminate a scene, an optical system configured to collect and focus on the pixels of the DVS photosensor light reflected by features in the scene from the light pattern transmitted by the illuminator, and a processor configured to process DVS signals generated by the DVS pixels responsive to temporal changes in the reflected light to provide a color image of the scene.

Abstract: A reconstruction system is presented for reconstructing morphology of biological cells. The system includes data input and output utilities, memory, and a data processor, and is configured for data communication with an image data provider to receive raw image data comprising a sequence of image frames acquired from the cell during a movement of the cell and being indicative of optical path delay (OPD) of light propagation through the biological cell. The data processor is configured and operable to process the raw image data and determine 3D dynamic morphological data of the cell. The data processor includes: a modeling utility; a position recovery module; and an analyzer module.

Abstract: Structures for response shaping in frequency and time domain, include an optical response shaper and/or a modulator device with multiple injection. The device comprises a resonator having an enclosed geometric structure, for example a ring or racetrack structure, at least two injecting optical waveguides approaching the resonator to define at least two coupling regions between the resonator and the injecting waveguides, and may define at least two Free Spectral Range states. One or both of the coupling regions has a coupling coefficient selected for a predetermined frequency or time response, and the coupling coefficient or other device parameters may be variable, in some case in real time to render the response programmably variable. In addition, the injection power at one of the optical waveguides serves to modify the response.
