Abstract: A structured soap composition contains, based on 100 parts by weight of said composition, (i) from greater than 0 to about 27 parts by weight of a neutralized fatty acid, (ii) from greater than 0 to about 18 parts by weight of one or more structurant selected from alkanolamide surfactants, fatty alcohols, alkoxylated fatty alcohols, fatty acids, and fatty acid esters, (iii) from 0 to about 15 parts by weight of one or more compounds selected from amphoteric surfactants and zwitterionic surfactants, provided that the total amount of components (i), (ii), and (iii) is greater than or equal to 5 parts by weight, (iv) an amount of electrolyte effective to, in combination with components (i), (ii), and (iii) provide a structured soap composition having an opaque visual appearance and exhibiting a yield strength of greater than 0 Pascals, and (v) water.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymer composition comprising: (i) one or more dendritic polymers; and (ii) a reactive diluent that is capable of being chemically coupled to the functional groups of the dendritic polymers, wherein when the dendritic polymer is coupled to the reactive diluent in the presence of a cross-linker, a polymerized solid is formed at high concentrations in a liquid medium. The present invention further relates to methods of preparing the polymer composition and its use in forming coatings.

Abstract: There is provided an aqueous dispersible polymer composition comprising: (i) a hydroxyl functional dendritic polymer; (ii) one or more polar compounds, the polar compounds being miscible with both the hydroxyl functional dendritic polymer and an aqueous solvent; and wherein the one or more polar compounds are present in an amount sufficient to disperse the hydroxyl functional dendritic polymer in the aqueous solvent. There is also provided a coating composition comprising the same and processes for preparing the aqueous dispersible polymer composition and the coating composition.
