The image processing device includes: an enlargement interpolation unit generating a first high-resolution image that is higher in resolution than the low-resolution image; a super resolution processing unit generating, from the low-resolution image, a second high-resolution image; a feature generating unit generating features by using the low-resolution image; a difference calculating unit calculating difference values between values of pixels; an adjustment unit calculating corrected difference values by correcting the difference values by using the features; and a combination unit generating a third high-resolution image by adding corrected difference values to values of corresponding pixels in the first high-resolution image.
