[Object] To provide a spiral contactor that has a spiral-shaped elastic arm having a stable elastic function and less unevenness, and is easy to manufacture.[Solving Means] An elastic arm 3 composed of an electrically conductive material such as copper or the like is formed in a spiral shape from a base end 4 substantially up to spiral end normal Oθ and the portion forward thereof is sharply bent so that a tip 5 is located substantially in the center. The elastic arm 3 can elastically deform in a long range and exert a stable elastic force. Additionally, this spiral contactor is easily manufactured by an etching process or the like, as a wide space is formed between elastic arm portions of a spiral shape.

An apparatus and method for editing different graphics displayed on a screen and correlated to each other. More specifically, according to various embodiments of the invention, an apparatus and method are provided for editing a hierarchically structured graphic forming a hierarchical structure with a plurality of group graphics, independently editing each graphic forming a group graphic, and changing the view of a first graphic related to a second graphic in response to changes of attributes of the second graphic.

In a facility-guidance apparatus realized in a computer by execution of a program for guiding a visitor to an exhibition place in a facility, character information indicating characters of articles exhibited at each of exhibition places is stored in advance in correspondence with place information indicating each exhibition place, for each of a target facility and a substitute facility. In response to an external input, place information for the substitute facility is designated. Then, the character information corresponding to the designated place information for the substitute facility is referred to, a degree of similarity between the character information referred to for the substitute facility and the character information for each exhibition place in the target facility is determined, and information indicating one or more candidates for the exhibition place in the target facility is outputted in the order of the degree of similarity.
Abstract:
A computer program, method, and apparatus for determining key attribute items and search keywords for use in analysis of incident records. Master tables provide a collection of registered text strings which may appear in incident records. Upon entry of a specified keyword, a master table search processor searches the master tables to extract a master table containing the specified keyword, as well as identifying under which attribute item of the extracted master table the specified keyword is found. The identified attribute item is referred to as a key attribute item. Then out of the extracted master table, a search keyword extractor extracts every text string under the key attribute item for use as search keywords. With those search keywords, an attribute item information generator retrieves incident records and produces attribute item information from the retrieved incident records and the key attribute item.

A connecting element includes a support member, a flexible substrate wrapped around the support member, and elastic contacts provided on the flexible substrate. A positioning hole is formed in the support member. A first positioning component is positioned and soldered on a metal layer formed on a motherboard, and a second positioning component is positioned and soldered on a metal layer formed on an electronic component. The first positioning component is inserted into the positioning hole in the connecting element, and the second positioning member is fitted to the first positioning component. Accordingly, the connecting element is positioned with respect to both the motherboard and the electronic component.

A substrate is formed with a plurality of spiral contactors on an upper surface serving as a first surface and a plurality of connecting terminals on a lower surface serving as a second surface. Since the spiral contactors are arranged in a matrix on the upper surface serving as the first surface, a lot of spiral contactors can be provided on the substrate of the present invention, and a mount area can be enlarged, and the size of the connector can be decreased. Also, the spiral contact terminal can improve a high-frequency characteristic.

A supporting portion is provided only at a winding start portion side and an outside of the other part of a deforming portion other than the winding start portion side is opened. Thus, adjacent spiral contactors can be arranged to be close to each other. Therefore, a mounting density of a spiral contactor on a guide frame can be increased. Further, since the deforming portion can be arranged at an opened region, a width of the deforming portion can be widened. As a result, the spiral contactor having a large spring constant is provided.
