The method further includes the steps of combining ink droplets of a former group as a first combined ink droplet, combining ink droplets of a latter group as a second combination droplet, combining the second combined ink droplet of the latter group with that of former group before the ink droplets reach a target, and maintaining a prescribed amount of ink droplets landing on the target by decreasing the number of ink droplet discharging pulses.

    摘要: A rotary pump such as a trochoid pump is composed of a housing and a rotating structure including an inner rotor and an outer rotor. The rotating structure is rotatably enclosed in a rotor space formed in the housing. The rotor space is divided into a low pressure space communicating with an inlet port and a high pressure space communicating with an outlet port by a pair of peripheral seals disposed in radial grooves formed in an inner periphery of the housing and by a side seal disposed in an axial space between the rotating structure and the housing. The side seal is disposed in the axial space not to cover sidewalls of the radial grooves belonging to the high pressure space, so that the side seal is bent by the pressure in the high pressure space to effectively seal the axial space.

    摘要: A scheme for interactive video manipulation and display of a moving object on a background image is disclosed. In this scheme a background image stored in a background image storage unit is read out and displayed on a screen, and a manipulation target spatial position is set on the screen. Then, a partial image to be synthesized and displayed is uniquely specified from partial images which are set in correspondence to spatial positions on the background image and representing an object moving on the background image, according to the manipulation target spatial position set by the setting step, and the partial image as specified by the specifying step is read out from a partial image storage unit, and synthesized and displayed at the manipulation target spatial position on the background image. A scheme for realizing a variable speed video playback with a playback speed different from a normal one is also disclosed.

    摘要: An ink jet recording device includes an ink jet recording head including a pressure chamber communicating with an ink ejection orifice, and a piezoelectric actuator pressurizing ink in the pressure chamber. A drive signal generating unit generates a drive waveform having multiple drive pulses. A pulse supplying unit selects one or more of the drive pulses from the drive waveform depending on a size of an ink drop to be ejected and supplies the selected drive pulses to the piezoelectric actuator. The drive pulses in the drive waveform include ejection pulses to eject the ink drop from the orifice and a non-ejection pulse to suppress residual oscillations of the ink. The pulse supplying unit is configured to select one or more of the ejection pulses and the non-ejection pulse when an ink drop having a maximum size is to be ejected.
