摘要： A mobile terminal has a communication unit for performing wireless communication, a plurality of modem units for performing modulation and demodulation in different communication methods, respectively, and a control unit for obtaining time information indicating a suspension of a wireless communication from a main modem unit in the plurality of modem units, for suspending the main modem unit from performing wireless communication via the communication unit, and for enabling the main modem unit to perform wireless communication via the communication unit on the basis of the time information, wherein, while the main modem unit suspending wireless communication, the control unit enables a sub modem unit in the plurality of modem units to measure a reception level via the communication unit in accordance with the obtained time information.

摘要： An ink-jet printing method includes the steps of dividing multiple ink droplet discharging pulses into two or more groups in an ink droplet discharging order, providing the multiple ink droplet discharging pulses to a pressure generator per scan line time, and discharging ink droplets from an ink droplet discharge head in accordance with the multiple ink droplet discharging pulses. The method further includes the steps of combining ink droplets of a former group as a first combined ink droplet, combining ink droplets of a latter group as a second combination droplet, combining the second combined ink droplet of the latter group with that of former group before the ink droplets reach a target, and maintaining a prescribed amount of ink droplets landing on the target by decreasing the number of ink droplet discharging pulses.

摘要： In this invention, a control circuit (111) controls both the power supply voltage (VDDQ) and the transistor size of the external output buffer to thereby select the lowest supply voltage that achieves the impedance matching with the transmission line (100), to thereby save bus termination by a resistor, thus consequently achieving both the lowering of the power consumption and the speeding-up in the data transmission. The power consumption during the data transmission is proportional to the square of the supply voltage. If the operational supply voltage of the external output buffer is lowered, the power consumption will be reduced accordingly. If the operational supply voltage of the external output buffer is lowered, the impedance thereof will be increased apparently; and at the same time, if the transistor size of the external output buffer is increased, the increased impedance will be decreased. By bringing the output impedance (ON-resistance) of the external output buffer into conformity with the impedance of the transmission line, it becomes possible to output the signal without distortions on the waveform.

摘要： A rotary pump such as a trochoid pump is composed of a housing and a rotating structure including an inner rotor and an outer rotor. The rotating structure is rotatably enclosed in a rotor space formed in the housing. The rotor space is divided into a low pressure space communicating with an inlet port and a high pressure space communicating with an outlet port by a pair of peripheral seals disposed in radial grooves formed in an inner periphery of the housing and by a side seal disposed in an axial space between the rotating structure and the housing. The side seal is disposed in the axial space not to cover sidewalls of the radial grooves belonging to the high pressure space, so that the side seal is bent by the pressure in the high pressure space to effectively seal the axial space.

摘要： In a rotary pump in which axial end surfaces of outer and inner rotors is in pressurized direct contact with an axial end surface of a second side plate to form a mechanical sealing, both of the axial end surfaces of the outer and inner rotors and the axial end surface of the second side plate are provided with radial line grinding stripes. Teeth gap portions formed by the outer and inner rotors in mesh communicate with an outer circumference gap between the circumference of the outer rotor and inner circumference of a center plate and also with a shaft hole of the inner rotor through extremely slight gaps formed by concave and convex of the radial line grinding stripes so that contact surface between the outer and inner rotors and the second side plate is well lubricated to reduce torque loss.

摘要： A scheme for interactive video manipulation and display of a moving object on a background image is disclosed. In this scheme a background image stored in a background image storage unit is read out and displayed on a screen, and a manipulation target spatial position is set on the screen. Then, a partial image to be synthesized and displayed is uniquely specified from partial images which are set in correspondence to spatial positions on the background image and representing an object moving on the background image, according to the manipulation target spatial position set by the setting step, and the partial image as specified by the specifying step is read out from a partial image storage unit, and synthesized and displayed at the manipulation target spatial position on the background image. A scheme for realizing a variable speed video playback with a playback speed different from a normal one is also disclosed.

摘要： An ink jet recording device includes an ink jet recording head including a pressure chamber communicating with an ink ejection orifice, and a piezoelectric actuator pressurizing ink in the pressure chamber. A drive signal generating unit generates a drive waveform having multiple drive pulses. A pulse supplying unit selects one or more of the drive pulses from the drive waveform depending on a size of an ink drop to be ejected and supplies the selected drive pulses to the piezoelectric actuator. The drive pulses in the drive waveform include ejection pulses to eject the ink drop from the orifice and a non-ejection pulse to suppress residual oscillations of the ink. The pulse supplying unit is configured to select one or more of the ejection pulses and the non-ejection pulse when an ink drop having a maximum size is to be ejected.
