Abstract:
To provide an apparatus that may impart a complicated bend deformation to an object to be machined such as a ceramic bar elongated in one direction or the like, and may reduce the non-uniformity in machining amount of the object to be machined upon the machining work of the object to be machined, specifically a correcting mechanism for deforming the object to be machined together with a jig holding the object to be machined is provided in a machining apparatus. The correcting mechanism includes a base, a plurality of levers provided at first ends with pins, a shaft fixed to the base for rotatably supporting the levers, and a plurality of correcting drive means coupled to second ends of said levers for pivoting the levers to the shaft to thereby pivoting the pins. The jig includes a plurality of load receiving portions arranged in a holding portion elongated on one direction for holding the object to be machined whereby portions corresponding to the load receiving portion in the holding portion are deformed together with the object to be machined in accordance with pivoting of each pin.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a die coater comprising a die composed of upper and lower mold-pieces which form a manifold and a slit extending from the manifold, an inner deckle shaft disposed in the manifold, a deckle disposed in the slit in a fluid-tight state, and a deckle guide; the inner deckle shaft having a fluid-tight portion near an end thereof and capable of moving with its fluid-tight state kept, the deckle and the deckle guide being secured to the inner deckle shaft, and the deckle being connected with the fluid-tight portion of the inner deckle shaft.
Abstract:
An apparatus for automatically feeding and setting stud bolts. The apparatus comprises a parts feeder unit for axially arranging stud bolts having threaded portions of different lengths on the opposite ends thereof in a low, a bolt orienting unit for directing stud bolts in one direction, an escapement unit for correctly feeding stud bolts one by one, an impact wrench unit for screwing stud bolts into intended work to set them in position, a pneumatic pressure control unit for feeding compressed air produced by a compressor into the escapement unit and impact wrench unit, and an electric control unit for electrically controlling the units, the arrangement being such that all operations which end up with screwing stud bolts into intended work to set them in position are carried out mechanically.
Abstract:
An oil pump including a first housing having a rotation shaft insertion hole, a cam ring, a pump element, a rotation shaft rotatably extending through the rotation shaft insertion hole, a second housing disposed on the cam ring, wherein the cam ring is placed in a position relative to the rotation shaft insertion hole of the first housing by using a jig, and the cam ring includes a clamped portion that is clamped by a cam ring holding device, while the first housing and the second housing are fixed to each other after placing the cam ring in the position relative to the rotation shaft insertion hole by using the jig. Alternatively, the oil pump including a fixing means for fixing the cam ring to the pump body instead of the clamped portion.

Abstract:
A nut runner for applying torque to a workpiece such as nut, bolt or the like positioned at a right-angle to the fastening device. The nut runner includes a motor, a speed reduction gear assembly, a right-angle bevel gear system, a planetary gear system, an in-line torque transducer disposed between the bevel gear system and the planetary gear system, a torque reading transmitter, and a workpiece engaging member. The bevel gear system, planetary gear system and torque transducer form a concentrated assembly which provides for a compact nut runner to access confined assembly areas. The motor causes the engaging member to rotate. The torque transducer senses the torque and the torque reading transmitter sends the reading to an operator or controller which interrupts the power supply to the nut runner when a predetermined torque is reached.

Abstract:
A testing apparatus using a scanning electron microscope for enabling tests and measurements on any part of a test subject in a nondestructive way without being limited by a size of the test subject, which is, a testing apparatus 1 using a scanning electron microscope for performing tests and measurements on any part of a test subject in a nondestructive way by using a scanning electron microscope 6a, comprising a local vacuum formation portion 9 for forming a local vacuum region by blocking around a part to be tested of the test subject from the outside air, wherein the local vacuum formation portion comprises an exhaust portion for exhausting to form a partial vacuum region, a float means 14 for floating the whole local vacuum formation portion above the test subject by emitting a compressed gas to an outer circumference portion of the local vacuum formation portion and a length measuring means 16 for measuring a distance between the test subject and the local vacuum formation portion for controlling floating of the local vacuum formation portion by the float means.
Abstract:
The state of a polysilicon film formed by excimer laser annealing an amorphous silicon film is to be evaluated. When the amorphous silicon film is annealed to form a polysilicon film, linearity or periodicity presents itself in the spatial structure of the film surface of the polysilicon film formed depending on the energy applied to the amorphous silicon during annealing. This linearity or periodicity is processed as an image and represented numerically from the image by exploiting the linearity or periodicity. The state of the polysilicon film is checked based on the numerical results.
Abstract:
A method for fastening together two or more parts with a fastener through fastening holes where either the fastener is misaligned with the holes or the fastener and one of the parts are both misaligned with the fastening hole of the other part. A depression having a throughbore is formed in one part and defines one fastening hole and cooperates with a self-tapping fastener to fasten the parts together and bring the fastener into alignment with the parts. The depression deforms to accomplish the alignment of the fastener and the parts.
