    摘要: Curable compositions are provided comprising: (a) a polyepoxide containing at least two epoxide groups per molecule; (b) a thermoplastic polyester polymer; (c) a curing agent having functional groups reactive with the epoxide groups in (a); and (d) microspheres comprising expandable microspheres which expand during curing of the composition and/or hollow microspheres. In certain embodiments, the compositions further comprise mineral fillers. Upon curing, the density of the cured compositions with expanded microspheres is less than half of the density of the composition before curing. Cured compositions of the present invention provide improved vibration damping properties at elevated temperatures, making them suitable as fillers for engine blade cavities.
