Abstract:
A system for transmitting product information of a product is described. The system contains a product with an electronic controller for acquiring and/or storing product information, wherein the product information comprises standard information about the product and current product information, a barcode generating component for generating a barcode for representing the product information, wherein the barcode generating means is connected to the product for data transfer or is integrated into the product, and a barcode updating device for updating the barcode on the basis of the standard information about the product and current product information. There is furthermore an acquisition module for the information acquisition of the product information from the barcode by means of an image recording device.
Abstract:
Described are methods for producing a card. The methods include providing a transparent plastic layer, printing at least one first labeling layer of the card on the plastic layer, printing at least one middle layer of the card on the first labeling layer of the card, printing at least one second labeling layer of the card on the middle layer of the card, and severing the card from the layer arrangement. Also described are methods for simultaneously producing a card and a card holder. The methods further include producing a predetermined breaking point between the card and the card holder, and severing the card and card holder from the layer arrangement, with the card and the card holder remaining connected to each other by way of the predetermined breaking point.
Abstract:
A method for producing information carriers in the form of cards, in particular credit cards, passes, identification cards, admittance cards etc., the laminating process including placing at least one card template which is to be sized, preferably a laminate consisting of a plurality of sized card layers, into a hollow mold and subjecting it to a simultaneous action of pressure and heat for a predetermined time. The material placed into the hollow mold is heated over at least one large area, as known per se by the use of heating plates, and in the peripheral, narrow, outer boundary region of the inserted material quantities of heat flowing off per se there are retained, blocked in, reflected and concentrated back onto the laminate template.
Abstract:
For laminating layers consisting at least in part of thermoplastic films, in particular for producing identification cards, or the like, carrying information and/or data, a method is proposed where the blank, after having been introduced between pressing dies, is initially subjected to the pressure and heat required for complete lamination of the blank. Heat dissipation is prevented during heating by the fact that cooling components are kept at a predetermined distance from the heating surfaces. During a subsequent transition from heating to cooling, the heating effect is terminated and cooling bodies are brought into contact with the pressing and heating components, for reducing the temperature of the completely laminated product.
Abstract:
A forgery-proof optoelectric card system is disclosed which includes a reader and code card comprising invisible light and dark codings forming at least one reading track. At least one reading head is provided which may comprise a photodiode as a ligh source and a phototransistor as a light receiver. The light codings having a first pass band to infrared light. Superimposed over selected ones of said light codings are filters having an attenuation band that is narrower than and lies within the pass band of the light codings. Additionally, a secondary light receiver responsive only to light lying within the attenuation band of the filter is provided.
Abstract:
A data recording apparatus is disclosed for recording production and product data output from at least one electronic device. A data collector device assigned to the electronic device records the production and product data and converts said data into transmission data to be transmitted, which are subsequently stored in a storage device. A configuration device connected between the data collector device and the storage device controls the storage of the transmission data.
Abstract:
A transponder label including a transponder film, a chip mounted on the transponder film and an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer has a thickness that is equal to the thickness of the chip. The adhesive layer also has a recess in an area of the chip, which recess has a contour that matches the shape of the chip.
Abstract:
A method for producing an information carrier in the form of a card, such as an identification card or pass, as well as an information carrier produced in accordance with this method. The information carrier comprises a plurality of plastic layers combined with one another into a block, at least one of which contains a photograph of the bearer and/or his fingerprint and/or other readable or machine-readable data in the form of a photographic layer. This photographic layer is produced and incorporated into the sandwich of plastic layers making up the identification card in that a specially prepared film is exposed to light, developed, fixed and dries, and then the carrier layer of this film sandwich is removed from the emulsion after the emulsion has entered into an adhesive bond with a first plastic carrier layer, this adhesion being substantially greater than the adhesion of the emulsion to the film's auxiliary carrier, which is to be removed.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are described herein for providing continued operation of NFC-enabled mobile devices and NFC-enabled tags. The techniques described herein relate to methods and systems using a short-range frequency-enabled tag that can be applied to a short-range frequency-enabled mobile device, resulting in the reduction of interference between the internal short-range frequency circuitry of the mobile device and the short-range frequency receiver and transmitter circuitry of the tag—particularly when communicating with other short-range frequency devices. The techniques provide the advantage of enabling use of both the internal short-range frequency capabilities of the mobile device and the short-range frequency capabilities of the tag, leading to flexible and dynamic applications that leverage both sets of features, as well as access to a wider variety of current and future applications.
