摘要: A system and method for intrusion detection includes a first sensor for detecting an intrusion within an area and for outputting a first signal, a second sensor for detecting an intrusion within the area, the second sensor outputting a second signal, and a processor to receive both the first and second signals and to classify both the first and second signals as having a particular state. The processor provides an output for generating an alarm signal when the first signal and the second signal are classified with corresponding states.

摘要: A method and a device are proposed for determining parameters describing changes in a technical system caused by ageing, usage-dependent performance quantities being ascertained in the system. In this context, using a wear and tear model, a correlation is produced between the ascertained performance quantities and the parameters describing changes in the system caused by ageing, and subsequently these parameters, or quantities derived therefrom, such as remaining service life, probability of malfunction, or quality of a product, calculated internal to the system at any point of time as desired.

摘要: The circuit configuration, in particular a logic or digital circuit, has transistors of different conductivity types. The transistors are disposed in spaced-apart rows. The transistor rows alternate with regard to the conductivity types. The transistors of the rows form groups. A group of the first conductivity type is associated with a group of the second conductivity type in an adjacent row and the associated groups together form a digital functional unit. A first, second, and third transistor row each contain transistor groups with an associated group in a downstream adjacent row (in a given direction) and transistor groups with an associated group in an upstream adjacent row. The second transistor row is formed between the first and third transistor rows and contains a transistor group that is associated with a group of the first row, and a transistor group that is associated with a group of the third row.

摘要: An image display system comprises polarization spectacles having different polarization axes with or without .lambda./4-foils of both polarization lenses forward of the eyes of the person to be tested. The system of the invention further includes an image display device for generating light with a specific direction of polarization or a specific rotational direction of the circularly polarized light. The image display device comprises essentially at least one vectograph film and at least one image screen. This arrangement can so influence the light coming from the image screen that test figures or parts thereof can be seen by only one eye or by both eyes. If the image display system is to be used as a vision testing system and the test figures are to be changed, then there is a corresponding command of a drive circuit via a memory. The drive circuit drives the image screen in a suitable manner. A color display can be provided by making an appropriate modification to the image display device.

摘要: The invention concerns a method and apparatus for testing aspherical lenses, particularly continuous-focus eyeglass lenses. The negative picture (7) of a test pattern (1) is produced by means of a master lens (4) which is placed in the ray path of the optical system (6) of the testing device. (FIG. 1). Thereupon the negative picture is projected back onto the test pattern over said ray path, which is now traversed in the opposite direction. If the specimen to be tested is now substituted for the master lens, light edges appear in the plane of the test pattern and give information as to the deviations of the distribution of the refractive power of the test specimen from the desired values of the master lens.

摘要: A system and method for providing a fault tolerant vehicle dynamics control (VDC) is described. The system includes a fault tolerance module that receives an indication of a fault in at least one of the actuators of the VDC and selects a fault compensation mode to maintain the stability of the motor vehicle in light of the received fault indication. The fault tolerance module proceeds by diagnosing at least one fault in at least one of the actuators, selecting a fault compensation mode based on the detected at least one fault and the driving condition, and compensating for the at least one fault by optimally controlling remaining operable actuators according to the fault compensation mode.
