摘要: A carrier particle which includes a core and a coating layer formed on the surface of the core. The coating layer is made of a coating material including: an organic compound (A) having a functional group other than an Si(OR.sup.1) group, where R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or an acyl group; a compound (B) and/or a hydrolytic condensation product thereof, having a functional group having reactivity with the functional group of the organic compound (A), and an Si(OR.sup.1) group; an organometallic compound (C) and/or a hydrolytic condensation product thereof; and a solvent (D). The carrier particles of the present invention, enable toner particles to be sufficiently charged even at high temperature and high humidity, so that an image with no fog can be formed. In addition, the carrier particle has high durability. There is no unnecessary attachment of the toner particles onto the carrier particles, so that the problems of carrier particle contamination and spent toner never arise.

摘要: A process for producing a coated film continuously, comprises the steps of:running a substrate film; andextruding a coating composition having a viscosity of 0.1 to 100 cps at 20.degree. C. through a slit of a die onto a surface of the substrate film to produce a coating layer having a thickness of 0.1 to 20 .mu.m over the substrate film. According to the present invention, it is possible to produce a coated film continuously at high speed, using a coating material having a viscosity as low as water or a coating material with a problem of deterioration due to the exposure to the air, thereby producing a coating layer over the substrate film to a uniform thickness.

摘要: Disclosed is an inverter having improved power conversion efficiency. The inverter (200) converts direct current power supplied from a plurality of direct current power supplies (V1, V2) having different voltages into alternating current power. The inverter (200) is provided with a control unit (20). The control unit (20) generates modified sine waves using a power supply voltage (E1) of the power supplied from the first direct current power supply (V1), a power supply voltage (E2) of the power supplied from the second direct current power supply (V2), and a potential difference (E1−E2) between the two power supply voltages. The control unit (20) generates the modified sine waves by controlling H bridge circuits provided for the direct current power supplies (V1, V2), respectively.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to maintain a predetermined positional relationship between an outer pin holder and a housing in a speed reducer section B, to prevent damage to such components as revolving members, outer circumferential engagers, and motion conversion mechanism upon a large axial load due to turning or sudden acceleration/deceleration, and to eliminate rattling noise caused by a housing and the outer pin holder. An elastic member is disposed on one or both axial end surfaces of the outer pin holder, between the outer pin holder and the housing. As a result, even if there is an axial load exerted on the outer pin holder, the outer pin holder is always held at a predetermined position by restoring force from the elastic member(s), in a proper positional relationship with the housing.

摘要: A method for evaluating thermal plasticity of coals and caking additives includes packing a coal or a caking additive into a vessel to prepare a sample 1; arranging a through-hole material 2 having through-holes from top to bottom surfaces, onto the sample 1; heating the sample 1 at a predetermined heating rate while maintaining a constant volume of or while applying a constant load onto the sample 1 and the through-hole material 2; measuring the permeation distance with which the molten sample has permeated into the through-holes; and evaluating thermal plasticity of the sample using the measured value. Alternatively, a method involves heating the sample 1 at a predetermined heating rate while maintaining the sample 1 and the through-hole material 2 in a constant volume; measuring the pressure of the sample that is transmitted via the through-hole material 2; and evaluating thermal plasticity of the sample using the measured value.
