摘要： A speaker system removably attachable to a video monitor is described which would eliminate the complexity in mounting the speaker system as an add-on unit as well as the ungraceful appearance of the video monitor when the speaker system is removed. The top side of a case incorporating speakers is formed to match the shape of the bottom of the front panel of the video monitor. The speaker system can be mounted on the bottom of the front panel of the video monitor, which is supported on top of a base, as a locking member formed on the top of the case is engaged with a locking hole formed in the bottom of the front panel, or a locking member formed on the bottom of the front panel is engaged with a locking hole formed in the top of the case. Due to lightweight and compact construction, the speaker system can be integrally mounted on the video monitor by using dead space formed between the video monitor and its base and it can be easily removed therefrom.

摘要： One feature of the present invention is a battery to be mounted on a vehicle, in which the battery casing is formed with a recess into which a starter magnetic switch is fitted. Another feature of the invention is a starter magnetic switch which can be fitted into the recess formed in the battery. The starter magnetic switch has a rocker means which is made of a conductive material. The rocker means has a moving electric contact which is biased normally open and which is closed when the solenoids built into the switch are energized, to close the drive circuit of a starter motor. The rocking means has one end projecting to the outside of a switch casing and is fastened to the positive terminal of the battery. In addition, a supporting means, which projects to the outside of the switch casing at the side opposed to the portion where the rocking means projects, is fastened to the negative terminal of the battery. The rocking means is arranged such that the portion fastened to the positive terminal of the battery and the portion to be attracted by the solenoids are offset while holding a generally parallel relationship not in a common plane.

摘要： Ethylenic polymer/styrenic polymer blend foams are prepared from blends of (1) an ethylenic polymer resin having a density of from 0.915 to 0.930 g/cm.sup.3 and a melt index of from 0.2 to 2.6 grams/10 minutes and (2) a styrenic polymer resin having a melt flow rate of from 1.4 to 18 grams/10 minutes. Foams having an excellent overall combination of properties are obtained (1) when the density, D, of such foams is in the range of from 10 to 40 kg/m.sup.3 and the 25 percent compressive strength, F, in kg/cm.sup.2 is from 0.013D.sup.1.15 to 0.024D.sup.1.15 and (2) when the ratio, R, of the melt flow rate of the styrenic polymer employed divided by the melt index of the ethylenic polymer employed is from 7 to 90 and the content, Y, of the styrenic polymer in said blend, in parts by weight based upon 100 parts by weight of the ethylenic polymer resin, satisfies the following requirement:10.ltoreq.Y.ltoreq.3.94.7+1.18R-294.1 log (D).

摘要： Methods for producing bodies having chemically embossed patterns comprise: (1) adding sulphur and synthetic rubber material capable of forming sulphur bridges to a vinyl chloride resin preparation containing a foaming agent, forming the mixture into a sheet, printing embossed patterns on the sheet using an ink containing a vulcanization accelerator, drying the printed sheet and then heating the sheet to decompose the foaming agent thereby foaming the sheet; and (2) adding synthetic rubber material containing terminal groups capable of reacting with isocyanates to a vinyl chloride resin preparation containing a foaming agent, forming the mixture into a sheet, printing embossed patterns on the sheet using an ink containing isocyanates, drying the printed sheet and then heating the sheet to decompose the foaming agent thereby foaming the sheet.

摘要： The present invention discloses a vinylidene chloride resin type in-mold foam molding having a broad cross-sectional area and a free shape, which is useful as thermal insulating plate materials or as anti-shock molded vessels, and also to foam particles, which are or expandable particles convenient for the preparation thereof. The present invention is also related to a series of advantageous foaming techniques for completion of such a molding. The above foam molding can be prepared by contacting fine particles of a non-crystalline vinylidene chloride type resin obtained generally by suspension polymerization with a volatile organic blowing agent thereby impregnating the resins with the blowing agent to form expandable resin particles, which are in turn subjected to expansion as such, or after forming into pre-expanded foam particles including expandable gas therein, by filling in a mold cavity which can be closed but not sealed, under heating to form a molding through a mutual fusion between the expanded particles.

摘要： A method for making a vinyl chloride resin sheet having a raised pattern thereon. The method comprises the steps of providing an open-celled vinyl chloride resin sheet and printing a portion of the sheet with a composition comprising a cross-linkable compound in accordance with the pattern to be formed. The printed sheet is then dried and subsequently heated to a temperature higher than its softening temperature whereby the open-celled unprinted portion of the sheet is depressed and whereby the printed pattern remains open-celled and stands in relief with respect to the depressed portion.

摘要： Proposed in this application is a device for adjusting ignition timing in an engine for a motor-cycle having an engine, an ignition circuit for the engine, a fluid coupling connected to the engine, a power transmission mechanism which receives driving force from the fluid coupling, and shift indicating switch which changes over in association with the power transmission mechanism to indicate a low speed drive, a high speed drive, or the neutral position, wherein the ignition timing adjusting device comprises: a plurality of ignition signal emitters, each having differing signal emission timing and producing an ignition signal output to actuate said ignition circuit when the engine is in a driven state and the vehicle is in a stopped state; and a switching element which, in accordance with change-over operation of the shift indicating switch device, controls in such a manner that any one of the output signals from the plurality of ignition signal emitters may be fed as an input into the ignition circuit.
