摘要: A foamed thermoplastic material includes a thermoplastic material exhibiting, in its unfoamed state, a particular flammability index, flame growth rate, and specific extinction area. The foamed thermoplastic material further includes a plurality of cells having a number average mean diameter of 5 to 150 micrometers present in an amount effective to provide the foamed thermoplastic material with a density that is 10 to 90 percent of the density of the unfoamed thermoplastic material. The foamed thermoplastic material exhibits a desirable tensile elongation and dielectric constant. A process for forming the foamed thermoplastic material, articles including the foamed thermoplastic material, and an article-forming process are also described.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing PUR/PIR rigid foam materials, having the steps of reacting at least one polyester polyol (a), which can be obtained by reacting a. I.) at least one cyclic carboxylic acid anhydride; a.2.) at least one low-molecular dial with a molecular mass of 62 to 450 Da; and a.3.) at least one alkylene oxide; by esterifying the components a.I.) and a.2.) and subsequently oxalkylating the resulting carboxylic acid half-ester using component a.3.); wherein at least the oxalkylation is carried out using a.4.) at least one amine catalyst in which (the) nitrogen atom(s) is/are part of an aromatic ring system, with (b) at least one polyisocyanate-containing component, (c) at least one propellant, (d) at least one or more catalysts, (e) optionally at one flameproofing agent and/or other auxiliary agents, and (f) optionally at least one additional compound with at least two groups which are reactive towards isocyanates and which differ from polyester polyol (a). The invention also relates to a PUR/PIR rigid foam material which can be obtained using a method according to the invention, to a composite element comprising the PUR/PIR rigid foam material according to the invention, at least one cover layer selected from concrete, wood, press board, aluminum, copper, steel, stainless steel, paper, non-wovens, and plastic, and multilayer composites or a combination thereof. The invention also relates to the use of the PUR/PIR rigid foam materials according to the invention or the composite element according to the invention for heat damping.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing polyurethane foams by reacting an isocyanate component with an isocyanate-reactive component comprising at least one polyethercarbonate polyol, the reaction taking place in the presence of a component K selected from one or more compounds from the group consisting of K1 esters of mono- or polybasic carboxylic acids whose (first) dissociation has a pKa of 0.5 to 4.0, K2 mono-, di- and polysulfonates of mono- and polyfunctional alcohols, and K3 one or more compounds from the group consisting of K 3.1 esters of phosphoric acid, phosphonic acid, phosphorous acid, phosphinic acid, phosphonous acid and phosphinous acid, these esters each containing no P—OH group, K3.2 oligomeric alkyl phosphates of the general formula (II), where a is an integer from 1 to 10, b is an integer from 1 to 10, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are alkyl groups having at least one carbon, and R1, R2, R3 and R4 are alike or, independently of one another, different, and R5 is a linear alkylene group having at least two carbons or is a branched alkylene group having at least three carbons, and K3.3 comprises oligomeric alkyl phosphates of the general formula (III), where a is an integer from 1 to 10, b is an integer from 1 to 10, R1, R4 and R5 are linear alkylene groups having at least two carbons or are branched alkylene groups having at least three carbons, and R1, R4 and R5 are alike or, independently of one another, different, and R2 and R3 are alkyl groups having at least one carbon, and R2 and R3 are alike or, independently of one another, different. The invention also relates to polyurethane foams produced by the method of the invention and to the use thereof.

摘要: A one component spray polyurethane foam formulation containing a polymeric isocyanate with nominal functionality of 2.5 to 3.5, a polyol component that is at least 85 percent aliphatic and having a mole ratio of polyol with three or more functionality to total polyol of 0.2 to 0.75, 15-30 wt % of a plasticizer, 1.5-3.5 wt % phosphorous, 5.5 to 11.5 halogen and 1.5 to 5 millimoles of blowing agent per gram of formulation and that is free of expandable graphite achieves a B2 rating in DIN 4102 testing.

摘要: A method of producing a foam is disclosed. The method includes providing an epoxy-containing compound, a cationic catalyst, an optional blowing agent, and at least one additive. The method further includes combining the epoxy-containing compound with the cationic catalyst, the optional blowing agent, and the at least one additive, wherein the epoxy-containing compound and the cationic catalyst react to polymerize the epoxy-containing compound to provide the foam having a density from about 0.3 lbs/ft3 to about 5.0 lbs/ft3 as measured by ASTM D1622. Further disclosed are the foam and a method for installing the foam.
