摘要: A cryogenic air separation setup in a cold box, wherein gaseous oxygen under elevated pressure is produced through hydraulic force caused by the geodetic distance between where liquid oxygen is drawn from the distillation column and where liquid oxygen is vaporized to form gaseous oxygen, such as in an auxiliary evaporator. To increase the vertical distance between the above-mentioned two location, the components are arranged directly below one another in the following sequence: the lower-pressure column, the main condenser evaporator, the higher-pressure column, the subcooler, the main heat exchanger and the auxiliary evaporator). In particular, the main heat-exchanger is positioned with the cold-end on the top to optimize piping expenditure.

摘要: In a process for starting up an air separation unit, which is at a temperature of above 0° C., the air separation unit comprising a main air compressor for compressing the feed air, a booster driven by a turbine and a venting conduit connected downstream of the booster and upstream of the main heat exchanger wherein in order to start up the air separation unit, once the turbine is operating at said given speed, the venting conduit is opened to send at least part of the air compressed in the booster from the booster outlet to the atmosphere.

摘要: Disclosed in the present invention are a pressure equalizing system for air separation purification, and a control method. The system comprises: a first air main pipe; a pressurizing gas pipeline, which is connected to the first air main pipe and used for receiving a pressurizing gas and delivering same to the first air main pipe; and a control valve, located on the pressurizing gas pipeline, and having a degree of opening regulated by the flow regulator, thereby regulating an air intake amount of the pressurizing gas pipeline. The present invention solves the problem of an air separation rectification process being affected when dry nitrogen is used for pressure equalization of an adsorber; in the switching process of entering an adsorption stage from a regeneration stage, pressurizing dry nitrogen used in a pressure equalizing step previously mixes with damp air from a main air compressor before entering the adsorber, such that the gas components flowing towards an air separation cold box remain substantially unchanged, in order to reduce disturbance in conditions of gas entering a rectification column to take part in rectification due to a gas component gradually changing from dry nitrogen to dry air in the prior art, thus stabilizing the process conditions of the air separation cold box.

摘要: A method and apparatus for transferring a first liquid removed from an outlet of a first distillation column to an inlet of a second distillation column is provided. The second distillation column operates at a higher pressure than the first distillation column, and the inlet of the second distillation column is at higher elevation as compared to the outlet of the first distillation column. The method advantageously transfers the first liquid from the outlet to the inlet by mixing with a sufficient amount of a lower density second liquid that results in a mixed liquid having a reduced density as compared to the first liquid.

Disclosed herein too a method comprising gasifying a waste stream to produce a composition that comprises syngas; the syngas comprising carbon monoxide and hydrogen; the gasifying being conducted in a high temperature gasifier; the high temperature gasifier being operative to function at temperatures of greater than or equal to about 450° F.; converting the carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide; and feeding the carbon dioxide to an synthesizing reactor to produce an oil rich algae.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an overhead console for a motor vehicle that can firmly hold, store and allow viewing of a portable electronic device. The overhead console can include a sunglass storage bin that is pivotally attached to an overhead console storage structure, the sunglass storage bin having a closed position and an open position. The console can also include a storage unit insert that is attached to and located at least partially within the sunglass storage bin. The storage unit insert can be dimensioned to hold a portable electronic device within the sunglass storage bin and allow the device to be stored out of view when the sunglass storage bin is in the closed position and allow viewing of the electronic device when the sunglass storage bin is in the open position.

摘要: Information relating to relative fuel pump camshaft advance angle is compared with a SOC signal indicative of the start of combustion in a reference cylinder to generate an adaptive trim table which is used, in a first control scheme to calculate an actual combustion angle for closed loop control over combustion timing only in the event of a loss of the SOC signal. In an alternate control scheme, the values from the adaptive trim table are always used to calculate the actual combustion angle for closed loop control.
