摘要： The present invention provides an ashless lubricating oil composition that improves the corrosion properties in natural gas engines. The ashless lubricating oil composition comprises:a) a major amount of base oil of lubricating viscosity;b) from about 1 to 6 wt % of an untreated polyalkylene or polyalkenyl succinimide dispersant; andc) from about 1 to 6 wt % of a borated polyalkylene or polyalkenyl succinimide dispersant.

摘要： Oil soluble compounds having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R and R.sup.1 are independently cyano, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, alkenyloxycarbonyl, alkylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyl, alkenylcarbonyl, alkylsulfonyl, arylsulfonyl, alkenylsulfonyl, substituted aminocarbonyl, alkylphosphoryl, arylphosphoryl, alkenylphosphoryl, aryl, or heterocyclics, or together form a carbocycle or heterocycle, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently alkyl, alkenyl, hydroxyalkyl, sulfurized alkyl, alkoxycarbonylalkyl, arylalkyl, or borated hydroxyalkyl, with the proviso that R, R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 together contain sufficient carbon atoms to render the compound oil soluble in an oil of lubricating viscosity. The compound are useful as wear protectants or extreme pressure agents to enhance wear protection or extreme pressure properties in lubricating oils and greases.

That compound has the formula: ##STR1## wherein R and R.sup.1 are independently alkoxycarbonyl, alkenyloxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkenylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyl, or arylalkyl, or together form a carbocycle, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently sulfurized alkyl, alkoxycarbonylalkyl, arylalkyl, or borated hydroxyalkyl, with the proviso that R, R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 together contain sufficient carbon atoms to render the compound oil soluble in an oil of lubricating viscosity.

摘要： A composition of polyalkylenepolyamine derivatives useful as a corrosion inhibitor in aqueous media produced by reacting a starting polyalkylenepolyamine composition comprising a mixture of:(i) at least one C-alkyl-ethylene diamine; and(ii) at least one di-(C-alkyl)-diethylenetriamine;wherein each C-alkyl group on the ethylene diamine and diethylenetriamine independently contain between 8-26 carbon atoms;with a derivatizing agent which is either an alkylating agent or an alkylene oxide. Methods for preparing this composition and using it to inhibit the corrosion of corrodible metal alloys are also disclosed.
