摘要: A battery, a power consumption apparatus, a method and an apparatus for preparing a battery are provided. The battery includes a plurality of layers of battery cell groups stacked in a first direction. Each layer of the battery cell group includes a plurality of battery cells arranged in an array. A plurality of thermal management components are provided between adjacent two layers of the battery cell groups in the first direction. The thermal management component is configured to contain a fluid to adjust temperature of the battery cells located on both sides of the thermal management component. The plurality of the thermal management components are connected to each other in a second direction to isolate the adjacent two layers of the battery cell groups. The second direction is perpendicular to the first direction.

According to the present disclosure, by reinforcing the conductive structure connected to the second portion of the electrode component having the insulating substrate by the reinforcing structure, the reliability of the arrangement of the conductive structure on the second portion can be effectively improved.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an insulation plate for a secondary battery and a secondary battery. The insulation plate includes two side portions and a top portion between the two side portions. Each of the two side portion includes a transverse covering portion and a longitudinal covering portion that are used to cover a transverse transition part and a longitudinal transition part of an electrode assembly of the secondary battery, respectively. During placing the electrode assembly into a case of the secondary battery, since transition parts of the electrode assembly are covered by the insulation plate, the transition parts of the electrode assembly are prevented from directly contacting the case, thereby reducing the possibility of being scratched and rubbed by the opening of the case. Therefore, electrical connection between negative and positive electrode plates of the electrode assembly is avoided and thus the reliability of the secondary battery is improved.

The battery column includes a housing, and first battery cells and second battery cells that are alternately distributed side by side along a first direction in the housing, where the first battery cell includes a first metal case and a first insulating film, the first metal case has two first side surfaces disposed opposite each other along the first direction, and the first insulating film covers at least the two first side surfaces; and the second battery cell includes a second metal case, which is exposed in the housing. In the battery column according to the embodiments of this application, even if no insulating film is provided on the second metal case of the second battery cell, and the second metal case is exposed in the housing, the battery cells can still be insulated from each other, and space inside the housing can be saved, thereby improving energy density of the battery column.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a vent for a secondary battery top cover, a top cover assembly, a secondary battery and a vehicle. The vent includes a flat base and a protrusion protruding outward with respect to flat base. The protrusion has a main nick and at least one branch nick connected to at least one end of the main nick. An angle formed between the main nick and the branch nick is more than zero. When the pressure inside the case increases excessively, gas causes stress concentration at the protrusion such that the vent is torn along the main nick and the at least one branch nick, thereby releasing the gas in the case, reducing explosion risk of the secondary battery, and improving safety of the secondary battery.
