    摘要: A positioning system for determining the location of a portable device includes a radio network. The radio network includes radio network nodes for communicating with the portable device and measuring signal strength from the portable device. The radio network also includes a Near Field Communication node for communicating with the portable device and at least initially providing the portable device with configuration information to enable the portable device to pair with the radio network nodes. The system also includes a positioning server for receiving signal strength information from the radio network, determining a location of the portable device, providing the portable device with a graphical representation of its location within a floorplan, receiving an indication of a desired product from the portable device, determining a location of the product, calculating and providing the portable device with a route from the location of the portable device to the product.

    摘要: A system and method for tracking the identity and position of an object. The system includes at least one locator unit that is attached to the object to be tracked. The system also includes at least one display unit carried by or with a user. The locator unit obtains its satellite position data from a satellite positioning system such as GPS, GLONASS, LORAN, GALILEO, or the like. The locator unit then measures local position data with one or more sensors such as accelerometers and compasses and augments the satellite position data with the local position data. The locator unit transmits the augmented position data to a display unit. The display unit calculates its own position in the same way and outputs the augmented position of the locator unit relative to the augmented position of the display unit via a user interface.

    摘要: A fishing float includes a housing having first and second portions. The housing first portion may contain a first light source and a first depth sensor. The housing second portion may contain a second light source and a second depth sensor. The housing may include a battery, orientation switch, CPU, and charging coil. An optional remote receiver unit includes a receiver and an interface. After the housing is cast, the orientation switch completes a circuit that automatically energizes the downward-facing light source (whether first or second). The corresponding downward-facing depth sensor (whether first or second) generates water depth data. The CPU may actuate the upward-facing light source to indicate the water depth data and may actuate the charging coil's transmission of this data to the receiver unit. The housing rotates when a hook is struck, flashing the downward-facing light source. Inducing current in the charging coil may recharge the battery.

The improvement comprises heat retention means for the common recess so that the walls thereof become relatively hot and thereby promotes evaporation of the fuel discharging from the fuel nozzle.

    摘要: A plasma spray device is provided. The plasma spray device includes a plasma chamber region for having a plasma formed and a throat region coupled to the plasma chamber region. The throat region has an end surface and an axial bore. The axial bore is formed substantially along a longitudinal axis of the throat region, and has a non-circular cross-sectional shape. The axial bore at the end surface is for ejecting a plasma stream. The axial bore may include a plurality of grooves formed substantially along the longitudinal axis of the throat region. The cross-sectional shape of the axial bore may alternatively be defined by a plurality of overlapping substantially circular lobes. The plasma stream has a flow that is lineated before the plasma stream is ejected from the axial bore. The plasma stream has an overall particle pattern angle of less than about 50° after the plasma stream exits the axial bore.
