Abstract: This application discloses a battery cell and a battery pack. The battery cell includes a housing and a bare cell located in an inner cavity of the housing. The bare cell includes at least two opposite extension ends and a middle region located between the two opposite extension ends of the bare cell. The two opposite extension ends of the bare cell are configured to be lower than the middle region of the bare cell in a height direction. The bare cell of this cell forms a structure that is high in the middle and low at edges, and a liquid level height of an electrolyte solution in the housing is below the middle region of the bare cell and above extension ends.

The electrode assembly includes: a first electrode plate; a first separator; and a second separator. The second separator and the first separator are located on two opposite sides of the first electrode plate in a thickness direction, and the first separator and the second separator are both turned over and enclose an edge of the first electrode plate that is provided with no tab. On this basis, the safety performance of the battery can be effectively improved.

The housing may be integrally formed and include two first side walls arranged opposite each other in a first direction and two second side walls arranged opposite each other in a second direction, the two first side walls and the two second side walls may enclose an accommodating cavity, the housing may have at least one opening in a third direction, and the first direction, the second direction, and the third direction are perpendicular to one another. The electrode assembly may be accommodated in the accommodating cavity, and the electrode assembly may include a body structure and a tab protruding out of the body structure.

The positive electrode plate may improve the safety performance during nail penetration of the electrochemical device such as capacitor, primary battery or secondary battery and the like.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a battery and an electric apparatus, where the battery includes: a plurality of battery cells; a heat exchange pad, disposed between two adjacent battery cells and configured to exchange heat with the battery cells; and a cooling pipe, configured to deliver cooling fluid, and the cooling pipe is provided with a plurality of outlets. The heat exchange pad is provided with inlets corresponding to the outlets, and the cooling pipe is configured to deliver the cooling fluid to the inlets of the heat exchange pad through the outlets. A flow channel that communicates with the inlets is further provided on the heat exchange pad, and the flow channel is configured to accommodate the cooling fluid to exchange heat between the cooling fluid and the battery cells. The technical solutions of the embodiments of this application can enhance the safety of the battery.
