Abstract: A display system changes display in accordance with a gesture of an operator in a vehicle. The display system includes a gesture detector that detects the gesture, a vision area detector that detects a vision area of the operator, a display that displays a gesture operation result that is an operation result of the gesture, and a display controller that executes a control related to display processing of the display. The display controller acquires the vision area detected by the vision area detector and a display area of the display, determines a positional relationship between the vision area and the display area, and displays the gesture operation result to the operator. The display controller determines a display mode of the gesture operation result based on the positional relationship between the vision area and the display area.

Abstract: In a technique for vehicle control, a gesture due to a motion of a body part of an occupant of a vehicle is detected. The gesture is associated with an operation of an in-vehicle device provided in the vehicle. The in-vehicle device executes the operation associated with the gesture. The in-vehicle device executes position-specific operations that are different for respective positions in a vehicle cabin of the vehicle. The gesture requires a line motion of the body part. Different operations of the position-specific operations are associated with gestures detected as a common gesture according to a direction of trajectory deviation. The trajectory deviation is deviation of a trajectory of a line motion of the body part detected as the common gesture from a trajectory of the line motion required by the common gesture.

Abstract: A vehicle display device includes: a display; a vehicle information image generator; an external image obtaining device; a display controller that displays the vehicle information image and the external image on the display; and an external image display determination device that determines whether the display controller is going to display the not displayed external image. When the display controller is going to display the not displayed external image, the display controller displays the external image, which the display controller is going to display, on the display with gradually increasing brightness of the external image from the brightness that is lower by a predetermined amount than original brightness to predetermined brightness that is determined based on the original brightness.

Abstract: A display control apparatus for a vehicle includes a steering angle detector, an operation detector, a display section, and a setting section. The steering angle detector detects a steering angle of the vehicle. The operation detector detects an operation to an operation unit mounted on a steering wheel of the vehicle. The display section displays an operation image on a display unit located behind the steering wheel in such a manner that the operation image changes according to the operation detected by the operation detector. The setting section sets a display position of the operation image on the display unit according to the steering angle detected by the steering angle detector so that a driver of the vehicle views the operation image at a position adjacent to the operation unit.

Abstract: A vehicle control device mounted to a vehicle and configured to control a traveling state of the vehicle is provided.
