    摘要: The invention provides a process for the manufacture of carbon disulphide comprising supplying a molecular oxygen-containing gas and a feedstock comprising a hydrocarbonaceous compound to a reaction zone containing a liquid elemental sulphur phase and reacting, in the liquid sulphur phase, at a temperature in the range of from 300 to 750° C., the hydrocarbonaceous compound with elemental sulphur to form carbon disulphide and hydrogen sulphide and oxidizing at least part of the hydrogen sulphide formed to elemental sulphur and water. The invention further provides the use of a liquid stream comprising carbon disulphide, hydrogen sulphide and carbonyl sulphide obtainable such process for enhanced oil recovery.

    摘要: The present invention is a method for extracting bitumen from an oil sand feed stream including at least the steps of: (a) providing an oil sand feed stream; (b) contacting the oil sand feed stream with a liquid comprising an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent thereby obtaining a solvent-diluted oil sand slurry; (c) depositing the solvent-diluted oil sand slurry as a filter cake on a filter medium and filtering the solvent-diluted oil sand slurry, thereby obtaining a solids-enriched stream and a filtrate, wherein during the filtering the pressure above the filter cake is at least 1.7 bara; and (d) lowering the pressure of the solids-enriched stream to below 1.2 bara.

    摘要: The invention provides a process for the manufacture of carbon disulphide by reacting carbon monoxide with elemental sulphur to form carbonyl sulphide and disproportionating the carbonyl sulphide formed into carbon disulphide and carbon dioxide, the process comprising contacting a gaseous stream comprising carbon monoxide with a liquid elemental sulphur phase containing a solid catalyst at a temperature in the range of from 250 to 700° C. to obtain a gaseous phase comprising carbonyl sulphide, carbon disulphide and carbon dioxide. The invention further provides the use of a liquid stream comprising carbon disulphide, carbonyl sulphide and carbon dioxide obtainable by such process for enhanced oil recovery.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for the selective oxidation of hydrogen sulphide contained in a hydrogen sulphide-containing hydrocarbon feed gas to elemental sulphur. The hydrogen sulphide-containing hydrocarbon feed gas and a sulphur dioxide-containing gas are supplied to a reaction zone containing a TiO2-comprising catalyst, wherein elemental sulphur and a gaseous stream depleted in hydrogen sulphide are formed. The gas feeds are contacted with the TiO2 containing catalyst at elevated pressure and at a temperature in the range of from 120 and below 160° C., under such conditions that the elemental sulphur formed is essentially in liquid form. At least part of the sulphur dioxide-containing gas is obtained by combusting elemental sulphur to obtain a gaseous mixture of sulphur dioxide and nitrogen and then concentrating the gaseous mixture to provide the sulphur dioxide-containing gas.
