摘要： A composition is prepared by mixing components including: (I) a polyorganosiloxane having an average of at least two unsaturated organic groups per molecule, with the proviso that component (I) is free of fluorine atoms; optionally (II) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having an average of at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule, with the proviso that component (II) is free of fluorine atoms; (III) a hydrosilylation catalyst; (IV) a fluoroorganosilicone, with the provisos that (1) component (IV) has at least one functional group reactive with component (I), component (II), or both, (2) when component (II) is not present, then component (IV) has an average of at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule, and (3) component (IV) is added to the composition in an amount sufficient to provide chemical resistance to a cured product of the composition; and (V) an adhesion promoter.

摘要： A method of treating a surface of wood products to inhibit the uptake of moisture into the wood by providing an aqueous formulation comprising polyethylene-vinyl acetate in water, 2-99 percent polyethylene-vinyl acetate by weight. The aqueous formulation is applied to the surface of wood products, wherein the wood products remain outdoors or in a damp environment having 60% or greater relative humidity. The aqueous formulation is allowed to dry and form a micro-film on the surface of the wood products. The moisture content in the wood products is maintained at 16 percent or less. A pesticide effect on the surface of the wood products is produced, inhibiting infestation of the wood products by insects.

摘要： An apparatus is disclosed for 40 supporting, rotating and advancing a rigid lance when cleaning the interior of a tube of a heat exchanger. The apparatus comprises a longitudinally extending aluminium body 10 defining a closed conduit 12 and a C-shaped channel 14 sharing a common partition wall and a rigid lance is located within the C-shaped channel. A first motor assembly 20 rotates the lance 26 and feeds water under pressure into the lance 26 through a rotary coupling 30. The first motor assembly 20 is slidable along, and guided by, the 36 C-shaped channel 14, by a second motor assembly 30 which serves to advance and retract the lance 26. The second motor assembly 30 is connected to pull the first motor assembly in both directions along the C-shaped channel by a flexible drive element 34 having a run housed in the closed conduit 12.

摘要： A handheld lance for high pressure jetting of tubes of a heat exchanger core comprises a fluid conduit defining an internal plenum chamber having at least one nozzle for emitting a jet of fluid for cleaning the outer surfaces of the tubes of the core and a coupling for connecting the plenum chamber to a high pressure fluid supply line. The or each conduit has an outer diameter sufficiently small to fit between all the tubes of the core and at least one elongate stabilizer bar is mounted on the coupling and positioned to one side of the or each conduit with the axis of the bar lying in the same plane as the adjacent conduit. The bar is sufficiently thin to fit between the tubes of the heat exchanger core and is sufficiently rigid to prevent lateral displacement of the adjacent conduit.
