    摘要: A vacuum pump stand (1) for generating and regulating the vacuum intended for a rotary vaporizer, including a control device having a control connection to a control unit (4) having at least one control element (3, 6). In the pump stand (1), the control unit (4) is designed as a remote control unit having a wireless control connection to the control device of the pump stand. Laboratory personnel can thus observe the rotary evaporator and the associated pump stand (1) through the divider of a fume cupboard, in order to be able to modify and readjust the process parameters at the remote control panel as needed. Because the remote control unit (4) has a wireless control connection to the control device of the pump stand (1), the fume cupboard no longer needs to be opened, even momentarily. Rather, the pump stand (1) can be operated from a sufficient distance outside the fume cupboard without the laboratory personnel needing to be exposed to special hazards.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method according to the eddy-current testing principle, and to a device for determining the thickness of an electrically conductive protective layer which is applied to an electrically conductive base material. The electrical conductivities of the protective layer and of the base material are different from each other. An excitation coil through which a high-frequency electric current is passed is brought near to the protective layer, so that an electric eddy current is produced in the protective layer and possibly in the underlying base material. A parameter related to the impedance of a probe coil is determined and is used as a basis for determining the thickness of the protective layer, for example by comparison with known reference values. The frequency of the high-frequency electric current is selected in such a way that the thickness of the protective layer is determined unambiguously for a ratio of the electrical conductivities of between 0.7 and 1.5.

    摘要: A diaphragm pump, especially a vacuum pump for gases, includes at least one diaphragm extending transversely through the pump housing and defining therewith a pumping chamber. Drive means connected to the diaphragm moves the latter between a suction stroke at which gas is sucked into the pumping chamber through an inlet and a compression stroke in which the gas is pushed out of the pumping chambers through an outlet. The diaphragm is clamped at its outer periphery to the pump housing and at its central portion to the drive means moving the diaphragm between the suction and compression strokes. In order to avoid vibrations of the diaphragm during its operation, the space within the pump housing on the side of the diaphragm facing away from the pumping chamber is maintained at a pressure smaller than the inlet pressure of the gas during the suction stroke whereby striking of the unclamped portion of the diaphragm against the surface of the pump housing defining the pumping chamber is avoided and the useful life of the diaphragm increased.

In the direct current motor according to the invention the rotary position sensors (5) are arranged on a sensor carrier (13). The sensor carrier (13) can be fastened at least at one face of the stator (1), and positioning aids cooperating with each other are arranged between the sensor carrier (13) and the adjacent stator face, which determine a relative position of the stator (1) in reference to the sensor carrier (13) and the rotary position sensors (5) arranged thereupon. If applicable, the direct current motor can be produced in an automated production method with little expense.
