    摘要: An elongated housing 10 has a positioning rod 13 located therein, slidable with respect to the housing. A guide rod 14 slides parallel to the positioning rod. The guide rod and the positioning rod are coupled together by end elements 38, 39. The housing 10 is formed with recesses or bores 11, 12 for the positioning rods 13, 14 and additionally is formed with bores to transfer energy at power level for subsequent positioning or operating units, as well as to permit transfer of control signals. The positioning rod can be operated by fluid pressure by coupling a piston, slidable within its operating space and forming a cylinder, or by an electrical rack-and-pinion or worm screw drive. The unit is compact and closed towards the outside, suitable for modular association with similar or other units, and devoid of external flexible hoses or cables interfering with access thereto.

    摘要: An analog of a path through which a cross slide table, for example carrying a workpiece or a tool is to be moved is traced on a drawing sheet. At points of change of direction or commanded speed of movement, graphic machine-readable symbols are placed on the drawing. A sensor, with sensing elements located in the quadrants of an x-y coordinate system, preferably secured to the cross slide itself, is placed above the graphic drawn representation of the movement path, the graphic representation is introduced by means of a program carrier beneath the cross slide and, upon recognition of symbols representing change of direction, speed of movement, suitable signals are derived which control servo motors moving the cross slide and the sensor in accordance with the sensed signals picked up by the sensor from the graphic representation of the movement immediately beneath the cross slide table itself, thus avoiding the necessity of numerical or other programmed input to the cross slide.

The slide is movable by means of an adjustment drive between a first end position and a second end position. At least one of the parts is provided with lift faces which are formed by a peripheral segment of a cylinder element. Counter faces which cooperate with the lift faces are formed by rotatably mounted lift rollers which in the operating position of the lift table are released from pressure by supporting faces provided on the base, the lift table and the slide. This device is characterized by short adjustment paths of the slide, low friction faces and also by the end positions of the slide which should not be exactly defined and maintained.
