摘要: This invention determines whether or not an internal combustion engine is not performing combustion. If the determined result is that the internal combustion engine is not performing combustion, a maximum in-cylinder pressure Pmax during motoring is identified by an in-cylinder pressure sensor, and a crank angle θPmax corresponding to the maximum in-cylinder pressure Pmax is detected by a crank angle sensor. Further, a reference crank angle θPmaxtgt corresponding to the engine speed and the engine load factor is identified, and θPmax is corrected so as to become θPmaxtgt. Furthermore, the relation between a signal of the crank angle sensor and a crank angle (measured value) corresponding to the signal is corrected so that a measured value of the crank angle corresponding to Pmax becomes the post-correction crank angle.

摘要: An engine control apparatus includes a stack detecting unit, a count processing unit, a stack value storage control unit, and an abnormality determination unit. The abnormality determination unit determines that a sensor has a stack abnormality when a count value by the count processing unit becomes equal to or more than an abnormality determination threshold. When maximum value of the detected value of the sensor detected during a determination period is lower than a value stored in a storage unit and a stack state has not been detected by the stack detecting unit during the determination period, the count processing unit does not count up a counter and does not reset the counter.

摘要: A starting control device for an engine includes an ECU configured to: i) execute an autonomous starting control in which the ECU injects fuel into the cylinder from a fuel injection valve after a crank shaft rotates reversely before the crank shaft stops its rotation and then ignites an air-fuel mixture using an ignition plug to start the engine without using a starter motor; ii) determine whether a pressure in the cylinder increasing due to the reverse rotation is equal to or greater than a predetermined pressure at a time point of firing of the air-fuel mixture by the ignition; and iii) prohibit starting of the engine under the autonomous starting control when the ECU determines that the pressure in the cylinder is not equal to or greater than the predetermined pressure.

摘要: An electrical storage system includes an electrical storage device, a voltage sensor, a current sensor and a controller. The controller calculates a full charge capacity of the electrical storage device on the basis of a state of charge of the electrical storage device at the time when external charging is started, a state of charge of the electrical storage device at the time when the external charging is completed, and an accumulated value of a current value during the period when the external charging is being carried out, and sets a polarization elimination time. When a stopped time during the period when charging or discharging of the electrical storage device is stopped is longer than the polarization elimination time, the controller regards a voltage value of the electrical storage device at the time of at least one of the start of the external charging or the completion of the external charging as an open circuit voltage of the electrical storage device. The controller calculates a state of charge corresponding to the voltage value as a state of charge that is used to calculate the full charge capacity by using a correlation between the open circuit voltage and the state of charge. The controller shortens the polarization elimination time as a rate of change increases. The rate of change indicates a ratio of a variation in the open circuit voltage to a variation in the state of charge.

The control device starts executing a starter engine start control when the engine restart request is generated, the last signal output from the sensor corresponds to the compression TDC and no signal is output from the sensor before a time elapsing from the output of the last signal reaches the predetermined time. The control device sets the predetermined time on the basis of a last engine speed acquired on the basis of the last signal and a signal output from the sensor immediately before the last signal is output such that the predetermined time set when the last engine speed corresponds to a first engine speed, is longer than the predetermined time set when the last engine speed corresponds to a second engine speed larger than the first engine speed.

摘要: A control unit according to the present invention performs an automatic stop control in which an injection of fuel from a fuel injection valve is stopped to stop a rotation of an engine when an automatic stop condition is satisfied. Furthermore, the control unit performs a first injection, in which fuel is injected from the fuel injection valve of a cylinder in an expansion stroke, and an ignition operation for igniting the fuel injected by the first injection, when a restart demand occurs after an initiation of the automatic stop control. In addition, the control unit performs a second injection, in which fuel is injected from the fuel injection valve of a cylinder in a compression stroke, and an ignition operation for igniting the fuel injected by the second injection. Then, the control unit performs a third injection, in which fuel is injected from the fuel injection valve of a cylinder in a compression stroke, when it judges that a start-up failure for which a crank angle of the cylinder which is in the compression stroke after the second injection cannot get over the compression top dead center occurs or will occur.
